Do NOT rearrange your work day or plans to go to this place. I had a hair appointment scheduled and the stylist/owner texted me 20 min before my appointment to let me know she couldn't make it in time and also to change the time to 430 pm the same day. I agreed because I understand that things happen and life can get in the way. After rearranging my schedule, she texted me again, told me she couldn't make it at 430, and that she would call me later to reschedule.
I said "sure" and she never responded or followed up to reschedule my appointment. I was a new customer to this salon that came as a recommendation from an existing customer.
If she ever calls to reschedule me I am going to have to turn her down. As a business owner myself, I would never treat my clients this way. She was very unprofessional and obviously doesn't care whether or not she loses business.

Just had my first appointment at Modesta and cannot say enough good things! Megan Williams was my stylist. She was great - nice, funny, listened and asked questions.

My haircut is absolutely perfect and I've never had a better blow-out. A minor point, but the wash station was one of the most comfortable I've experienced. The salon itself is cute and comfortable.

Megan will definitely be my go-to for the foreseeable future!

This is my favorite hair salon I have ever been to. I love the atmosphere of the space, and Megan was amazing! She was so helpful, knowledgeable, and intuitive with my hair, and she was just so easy to vibe with! I'm definitely coming back here for all my hair appointments in the future.

I have been to this salon twice now and I have been very pleased with both my visits. This visit was especially worth a review! Maria, the owner, helped me reschedule an appointment after the stylist I had booked tested positive for Covid. Maria made room for me in her schedule which was very nice! I had originally booked just a cut- but after talking with Maria, I decided to do a balayage. This meant a much longer appointment- but Maria did it! (I was her last client so she stayed late). She really went out of her way to make sure that the cut and color was what I wanted. I love the results and really appreciate her attentiveness to me. She also stood out front as I walked to my car to make sure I go in ok (it was dark when we finished)- this is something a friend does and I just really appreciated that. Maria really knows what she is doing and runs an amazing salon- I highly recommend it!

Attentive. Answered all my questions. No judgement on how long it's been since my last haircut. Great advice on haircare and no pressure to buy "their" product.
