I moved from VB to Chesapeake and saw the prices here when looking. Prices are reasonable. Service is great. People are friendly and make sure you take care of your nails. I was getting dip, but Julie recommended to do gel polish since I'm always changing my color when I need a fill.
I recently moved from Virginia Beach to Moyock so I have been desperately trying to find somewhere and someone that compared to my previous nail tech Megan in Strawbridge, and warning I'm about to be cringey. Julie at MK Nails First, NAILED IT . Ok, I warned you! She took her time but also didn't take a painfully long time. I usually don't have special requests just pick my color and carry on but I showed her a photo and she looked very quickly and said "OK, pick the colors and I'll do that". I was a bit hesitant because I didn't feel like she looked long enough and it was a french tip but curved so I felt like I was gonna end up with a nail shape and tip shape I didn't want. I left the salon feeling like my nails looked JUST like the reference photo! She recommended to do acrylic in order to get the length/shape I wanted, so I did. My nails have been breaking off so some were long enough others weren't. I mentioned to her that I usually do gel polish and haven't done acrylic in a very long time and she made sure to make it look natural. Thank you Julie, you did an amazing job and I will be back!
Kayla and everyone there is awesome! Reasonably priced and the services are great. I know every nail salon is the same, but this one is different. Everyone felt like friends and family which I loved!! Very good service and very good work!!!
David did my nails. It was my last day of vacation before heading home, and I owed my SIL a little bit of relaxing time out. It was packed in here, and people still kept coming while we were in there. Took less than 45 minutes total. I got a gel manicure. She got a gel pedicure with a foot massage. Overall, this place was decent. Not expensive, but you get what you pay for. I won't be back. The parts by my cuticles weren't done very nicely, so when my nails grew out, it looked all sorts of crazy. After a week, my hair was pulling on my nails because of the gel.
