It gets the job done. If you just don't feel like doing your hair and want to get in and out, this is the place for you. I had just taken out my braids from a sewin that morning so I called the salon to see if I needed an appointment and she said no, come at 9am (it seems to be walk-in only). I showed up at 8:50 and there was already 3 girls ahead of me and one girl in the chair. There was a sign-in sheet but nobody pays attention to that. Look around and make a mental note of who was there before you because they just yell "NEXT" from the shampoo bowl. The lady washing my hair was very rough and she made no attempt to be through. I was hoping she really scrubbed my scalp because I had just removed braids but she just kept scrubbing the same dang spot! After the wash, I got rollers. The lady doing this part was scrubbing the flakes off my scalp with a comb because the previous lady did a half a$$ job. I sat under the dryer until my turn to get blown out and bumped. That part went pretty quickly. No real complaints there. The lady who did this part let me plug-in my laptop so I could jump on a conference call. She was quick and I appreciated that. I got there at 8:50 and was out by 11:30 with bone straight hair. I believe my total was $50. Other girls who came in as I was finishing up where confused about what to do and nobody spoke English good enough for effective communication to happen so my advice is, don't ask no questions. Just do what you see others doing. This isn't the place to come with specific requests and special needs.
If you have curls tighter than 3a don't bother... basically ripped through my hair and complained about my texture. I would've left if my hair wasn't soaking wet but definitely regret walking in....
Love my hair so so much, I was skeptical just because of some negative reviews I saw prior! But they move very quickly and get you the results you're looking for! Only thing that made me a little uncomfortable was that no one greeted me as I entered, they just looked like deer in headlights! But overall they do a great job!
Molly is freaking amazing!!! Without having to ask she just knew what I needed and wanted done. Beyond pleased with the service and DEFINITELY returning!!
They don't do black hair well. She tried to comb it from the root down without detangling it. She burned my hair. Would NEVER go back.
