I've been coming to this location for more than 7 years and have not had anything even remotely close to the experiences some others have reported. I too have natural hair and Celia has kept it beautiful and healthy. She communicates what will look best (to trim or not to trim) and listens to what I want. I haven't had anyone put strange products in my hair ever. The process for wash, rollers/dryer, and flat iron is $40-$45 and I think that's really reasonable for super curly hair that reaches my lower back. Deep conditioner is a little extra. They definitely try to get you in and out but you can for sure expect some waiting on the weekends as there are folks lined up when they open. This is one of the better Dominican salons I've been too.
NATURALS BEWARE!! This "salon" put relaxer in my baby sister's hair during her wash. I hope the person who did it goes bald. Disgusting place.
i when to get my hair done there by time I left my hair was'nt pressed alway the way out when iI got home I noticed that my hair was still kind damp and I paid $60.00 for wash and blow drying and silk press, my first time going and last time i would recommend any by to them the service is bad
First, I would like to say I am natural and I come to the salon a once or twice a year for a trim and blow out . I go to the same person Cecelia she is very good . This time I went it was new shampoo girl . I brought my own shampoo, but not the conditioner . She immediately put what I thought was conditioner on my hair and let it sit as she walked around taking payments. Immediately after my hair seems more easy to work with , but I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt . Even the skin on back of neck felt a little irritated . My hair is severely damaged from the roots around the perimeter of my head . It sickens me that someone doing that without someone consent . Don't know if she was mad because I brought my own shampoo , but now I have to pick the pieces . Please avoid this at all cost .
Sitting here now and my hair wash was horrible. Some little kid is doing the washes & the back of my hair wasn't touched. She was rough. Used a brush to apply shampoo & conditioner. Horrible experience. I've been here for two hours just for a wash and blow dry. Nothing else. SMH!
