Mahalo Nails Spa in Minneapolis, MN

liam does not value his customers. he called to make an appointment for my daughter. i called back to say hey sorry her bus has some issues getting her home from school on time. can we move her appointment to the next day. mind you this is the only nail shop i go to here in minnesota for the last three years since i moved here. the nice lady say sorry we will need a deposit for tomorrow. liam gets on the line blabbing about money. $40 dollars deposit or i cant book an appointment. im truly disappointed

I am obsessed with Mahalo and have been happy with my service every time. Definitely schedule ahead of time and do not risk walking in since they're usually booked out. They do a variety of nail shapes, trends like chrome and glaze, and can replicate pretty much any design you'd like.

I don't know if I should call it as racist or lazy, but regardless, they fall in one of those 2. I am from out of town so I ubered here yesterday and got there exactly at 7pm since on Google it says they close at 8pm. I got there and the lady who opens the door says that they close at 7pm. I said okay I'll just come back tomorrow. Ubered back to my hotel and came back today as I told the lady I was going to yesterday. I call before I come today confirming that they close at 7pm and the lady who I spoke to said yes. I get there at 6pm, an hour before closing. A lady different from yesterday opens the door. She asks me what am I looking for and I let her know a pedicure with acrylic on my big toe. She says there are not any techs available. Keep in mind, I did not see ANYONE in the salon. I told her I was from out of town and ubered back just to come here and she said "well there are other nail shops around but you need an appointment. I just walked out.. but why was I not told all of this yesterday or at least when I called before I came. I've never experienced something like this and was so excited to come because of the reviews, but absolutely not.

I just called & asked were they open & it clearly says walk in welcome but she said they're open til 6pm but your fully booked!? I rather wait until tomorrow for my regular nail shop to open than to go here. The pictures look good buttttt it's about customer service to me not only how good you are. If you take walk ins don't say your filled booked & you close in 3 hours! Terrible!!!!

This place is absolutely amazing to me. There is excellent quality service and it is very clean and spacious. Having a spa day was the most fun I've ever had. There is no better place to celebrate a special occasion than in this venue.
