Magic Nails in Plattsburgh, NY

Horrible this was the worst place to ever get your nails done. I'd rather have my 3 year old daughter do it and it would have looked better but anyway I brought my 10 year old daughter and her two friends and the stoked there feet for like a second and then they would not do gel nail polish on them and said she can't do a design on there toe nails and the nail polish they got to pick out was from like the dollar store the old lady who was the owner was very rude to them they were laughing and she was yelling at them to stop and she was saying "no smile" and even more stuff like that and she said she can't do designs but she started to draw a Mickey Mouse face and her friends toe when we did not ask for that at all when it got to the nails they had to all pee so they were laughing even more but when the nails were done there had to pee so she brought out this stupid flip flop things to put on and said my daughter Diogo first because she said I had to wipe all there butts and help them pull there pants up but I wouldn't because that's just weird and gross but they messed up there finger nails in the bathroom so she redid them and she was super mad the place looked like dollar store with so many weird dumb decorations in there and there was only the owner and one other girl working there and someone came in and said Walmart told her to go there and told her she had to sign up online in advance. When the girls left the nail salon there nails were all ready chipping off. One of the worst things I ever experienced I'm never going there again. I would give this a 0 but I can't.

I had an appointment the other day and I love my nails they came out exactly how I wanted them too I got acrylics and it's the first place Iv been to where the nails weren't thick and blotchy

k lemme start with I walked in and automatically a bad vibe I asked if they took cards and they said yes. To get tips is 30$. I had already had tips on and they needed to take like 3 off. He took it off I showed him the shape I wanted and they wanted 5$ extra. Then I decided just to get a manicure (18$ is ridiculous) so I said nvm I don't want anything. Then as I got up the girl screamed you need to pay for that 10$! 10$ for what??? Screw thus place so as I went to pay ridiculous said amount they decided they don't take my card (discover)

I had to give it one star to write a review...deserves no stars! I do not recommend this nail salon to anyone. First, there's "stuff" everywhere, a tv was playing the movie "Beethoven", and was repeated while I was there. I was told to soak my fingers in acetone for way too long. The color kept fading once in the dryer...nail tech put three coats on! It was supposed to be pink, and looks like my skin color. Nails are bumpy and look unprofessional. Also Not sanitary...the nail clipper and metal scraper was definitely taken out of a container on the table. The lady took a pedicure at the same time as me and I am pretty sure she touched the lady's feet and then came back to me to finish my top coat! I felt so uncomfortable and should have left right away. I was not happy about the color and the paint was so thick. She ended up only charging me half price...but still annoyed. I also didn't like that she insisted the fading was due to my nail gloves I wore to protect my hands from the uv light. The hand massage was done in less than 10 secs with very little lotion. But I didn't mind so much because that was when I realized she had probably touched the other lady's feet. She also had to let me out because the door was locked from the inside when I was done. Why was the door locked?! Manicures are supposed to be relaxing and this was so tense especially with the movie on in the background. This nail salon should be permanently closed!
