Ly Nails in Wilmington, NC

Usually this place does a great job but TODAY was just UNACCEPTABLE! i asked for rhinestones on one nail which at this day in time isn't a hard or unusual request. The nail tech i had which was the man literally didn't put any base color under the rhinestones which usually i get my nails done they would put like a sparkle silver to blend them in "even i knew that" he had the rhinestones all
Spaced out you could see more acrylic nail then you could the stones! I was just beyond that place at that point especially when i asked could he put a base color underneath and he looked at me like i was CRAZY and i am definitely disappointed in the way the other staff handled that situation they really
Lost a loyal customer today because i really come here a lot now i gotta go to another nail salon tomorrow to get my nails iced out cause i had to walk out with BASIC NAILS for my bday. I've never had a problem with this place but today was my last time. They need to teach they nail techs what's popular this day in time and also if they know they not capable of doing something to let the customer know that instead of just trying to do whatever

When my best friend went to get our nails done, not only did no one person speak to us when we went in, but finally someone spoke to me after us sitting there for almost 40 minutes. But when I asked her to apply a little more glue to my nail she said no. So what I'm thinking is "if my nail falls off it's on you". Then she had an attitude because I had my best friend choose a color and she thought she was taking too long. I could feel her anger rising while she gripped my hand. As We went on and I was asking her questions she was ignoring me until the younger nail tech said something first. Now I'm not completely complaining because I still love my nails. But just add a little kindness to that hospitality and you'll get 5 stars. But ignoring me and almost making me feel like she's breaking my thumb, gotta give you those 2 stars. Sorry. And I waited a few days to make this review and the nail I asked for more glue on FELL OFF this morning. It's been 4 days. Thanks for the experience but I'll be going back to my normal salon.

I've been here several times since moving to Wilmington. They usually do a pretty good job. I'm not always greeted when entering the store but I usually don't have to wait long to be serviced. I always spend about $40-45 when I get a full set I always get my nails shaped stiletto style, and tend to get a gel polish because it last longer. Personally I don't mind not talking when getting my nails done but most of the workers start talking after they've started doing my nails and they're all pretty nice. I have not had a bad experience.

I really enjoyed visiting this place. Quiet, friendly, and welcoming. I will definitely be back.

Ask for Kevin! I read some of the reviews prior to coming and although some ppl weren't happy with their services I still came because they were the only ones open. I only got a deluxe pedi bc they are suppose to close at 8. I couldn't get here until a little after 830. Also the charcoal detox was great.
