Kat's Klaws is a one gal show. It's by appointment only. Kat is just darling. She's friendly and good at her job! I originally came to her through a Groupon. It took a couple of months to get an appointment but once I got that first appointment it was easier to get in the calendar for my next appointment.
She specializes in gel nails. I wasn't sure how I felt about gels at first but I am a believer. My nails have grown they have gotten stronger and it has been fun. I get tons of compliments on my nails. I go once every 3 - 4 weeks.
Kat hand painted a '18 on one ring finger and a graduation cap on the other for my daughter's graduation. How fun! I'm looking forward to a fun red, white and blue for July (I already have ideas for Halloween and Christmas too). The cat's eye was $5 extra but totally worth it. We had a wedding to attend and my nails looks GREAT.
5 cleanliness, her place is neat and tidy, 4 service (because it was difficult to get that first appointment), 5 workmanship and look, 4 -4.5 price per value. Having to go once every 3 to 4 weeks is a pretty good price value. And I'm there for a full hour. However, when you get gel nails you cannot get the full manicure experience. This is not cats fault it's just the nature of gel nails. They have to dehydrate your nails in order for the gel to stick their for soaking and creams do not mix well with the gels. having only ever had regular manicures I was surprised my first time. I have gotten used to it. But I sure do miss the hand massages.
Bottom line, give Kat's Klaws a try you won't be sorry. Treat yourself to pretty nails.
I bought a Groupon for Kat's Claws and am so glad I did! My gel polish lasted almost 3 weeks! And I even work in a hospital and am constantly washing or sanitizing my hands. When I go to regular nail salons and pay $35, I've had gel polish chip after a week. Kelly takes her time which I really like, and always asks how they look. I've been getting my nails done for over 10 years and have always been so picky, but Kelly is amazing! I will definitely continue to go to her. Not to mention her prices are amazing, and for someone like me on a budget but refuses to give up getting my nails done it's a perfect match!
Kelly is great! She always takes her time to make sure that everything is done well. She has a great selection of colors and even did a design for no extra charge! I also really appreciate that she guarantees her gel for a week after the appt. She will definitely become my regular nail girl. I'm so glad I found her!
There's a reason you have to book a week in advance. She. Is. So. Good. I found Kelley because she had a coupon online, and I'd been to a few salons since I moved here that I just wasn't super happy with. I was a little nervous because it's just her (not a multi-chair/corporate-type salon), but my nails and toes look PERFECT, and I will not go anywhere else from now on. I actually made sure to book my next appointment while I was still there for the first one!
