Jodeco Nail & Tan Salon in McDonough, GA

First time visiting this place, not impressed at all and should have known better to walk out without saying anything. Asked for a full set, she soaked them then patched the tips? I thought she understood... I asked for gel, she did acrylic. They fell off one by one after two days. I also had waxing done, sweet girl... but when I got home she had missed so much! I will only go back to tell them how bad they are. Maybe get my money back as well.

I won't be going back. I should've checked reviews first but was in a rush and it was on the way home. There is no organization.... I picked 3 different colors for my gel polish, but they had no matching colors for my toes. How do you NOT know that? Oh and choosing the color was ridiculous...they have all the colors in boxes in the display case. I had to move every box to see a color. Have they not seen what other salons are doing to make this process easier???

Do NOT waste your time or money at this clip joint. I tried them out 2 weeks ago - paid extra for gel nails - and I got regular acrylic fill in. Within 1 week the acrylic began to "pop" off. I called and explained to the owner - she said to come in and she would fix the problem - then when she was finished she charged me again for a fill in ! ! After I told her what I thought of the lousy job she did PLUS she blamed me! I had no choice but to pay her again. Well, today, after 6 days the acrylic is popping off again. I called her again and she repeated the claim that it popped off because the acrylic was "old". I told her that she had removed all the "old" acrylic and replaced with new. She said she did not replace (liar) anything - and this was my fault. Then she hung the phone up on me. I repeat - DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK ! ! The only reason I gave this place 1 star is because you have to give your post at least one star. If you want an excellent and complete nail salon - go to QC Nails, in the Ingles shopping center on Bill Gardner Pkwy., Locust Grove (678) 583-0888. EXCELLENT SERVICE and very friendly staff. I never should have gone somewhere else to begin with. Jodeco Nail & Tan prices are cheap - but remember - you get exactly what you pay for !!

I wanted to like this place as the facilities are clean and well decorated, it's easy to get to, and the prices are good. My pedicure (the #3) was okay but unremarkable. When it came time for my fingernails, however, I was dismayed to learn that they no longer do the white part of a "pink and white" fill for acrylic/solar nails, supposedly due to low demand. They will do the pink part but intend to paint the white tips on (aka French manicure). I opted for a simple manicure instead and got snipped TWICE during the rushed procedure. Very disappointing as it had such potential. As with most nail salons, communication is difficult due to the language barrier. If they were to resume doing pink AND WHITE fills, I would try them again--at least once--as today may have just been an off day.

This is a no frills nail salon. I go to it because it's not far from my home and they do an okay job. I have noticed that if you are not a regular, they will sort of rush you through a pedicure to help someone that is, which is rather rude and a put off. Thankfully my pedi was nearing the end. The selection of colors and brands could stand to be updated, so if you're looking for current, this is not the place, unless you being your own. I don't mind paying a bit more to get more and am still on the hunt for a place to get a regular pedicure.
