Jenny's Salon in Purcellville, VA

Ironic to find this on Jenny's entry door. Looks like she's going out of business? Not being able (or willing) to pay rent is never a good sign. Ironic because on my drive here I was thinking about finding a new salon. I'm tired of paying a deposit just to get my hair cut, tired of the unpleasant teenagers at the front desk, tired of the piles of ugly sweatshirts with Jenny's logo in the waiting area for "only" $60, tired of calling and having their phone just ring and ring and ring. Thanks for helping me make up my mind.

What a GREAT place! I went there with my hair brittle and falling out - and Mo and the team there gave me incredible recommendations and transformed my hair! It is now actually growing - soft and healthy! A relaxed, fun environment and the team helps each other out with recommendations to make a fully customized experience for the client. I am SO grateful and highly recommend!!

I saw Katy E mid February 2023 for a trim and color. Color was MUCH darker than I wanted and very uneven. I appreciate that she lightened it (bleach wash) the next day when I came back in - but overall I was not happy, especially considering how much I paid

The 3 stars is not indicative of the service I received. Emily was excellent and did an outstanding job. The beverage service was a very nice touch and the shampoo service was wonderful. I was ready to become a regular. Until I checked out. Being a first time client, I booked online and paid "50%" down, which was $77. I thought it may be a bit more with a root touch up and partial highlights. But it was actually $360 total!! Nowhere did it say a trim was not included and was an additional $80! I've never heard of paying $360 for the service I received. Again, Emily and the staff were great, but the prices were much higher than I expected.

I absolutely cannot say enough great things about Emily. After multiple rounds of horrible experiences with other stylists, she saved my blonde hair. I went into the salon having no idea what to expect because my hair was in such bad shape. I have an upcoming surgery next week, so we agreed to something that wouldn't be as high maintenance in the upcoming months. She worked with me and explained everything so throughly. She absolutely knows what she is doing!! I highly recommend her.
