Hair Cuttery in Purcellville, VA

I have tried many different places over the years. I have very thin AND fine hair. I've thought I needed to go to an expensive salon to deal with my hair. I found that to be one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made about where to get my hair done. I paid a MASSIVE amount of money, only to be disappointed with the outcome. I even tried a new place in Berryville and my hair looked awful- and cost hundreds to make it that way. So, I started looking and found a review from a lady who has the same hair type & she said Gady at the Purcellville location did an outstanding job. I went online and booked an appointment. Gady did NOT disappoint. She went over EVERYTHING with me, making sure to do what I said was most important. My hair looks so good. She trimmed it, and the cut actually makes it look thicker that it's EVER looked. So if there's anyone out there who is having problems like me, and your hair is baby fine, plus very thin- Gady is the gal you want. She is a miracle worker and for the first time I actually agreed when she asked if I wanted to make a follow-up appointment. THANK YOU GADY for your outstanding work. Oh- and another important thing is the cost is so reasonable. GO THERE-you will be happy!

I'm a guy with longer, curly hair. I had come to hair cuttery for quite some time and had gotten great hair cuts from Maggie who, unfortunately , moved to Texas. I came to another stylist with my hair on the sides to my earlobes. I asked for a trim. A dusting. Just a little off. (You can always cut more off next time. You can't put it back once it's cut). The stylist wet my hair and gave me the shortest haircut I've had in decades. It's an embarrassment. She didn't listen to what I wanted. She just went ahead. Really poor customer service. It'll take months for my hair to grow back to a reasonable length. Very unhappy.

I made an impulsive decision to cut my hair earlier this week. Ended up with a late appointment with Roxy and couldn't have had a better experience. She suggested a great cut/style and executed perfectly. My husband said it ranks in the top 3 of my best haircuts. Can't beat the price or convenience. Will be returning for color treatment next visit and I hope to be just as pleased.

I used to go to the Leesburg location for one reason only: IVOLYN!! She's the BEST stylist on the planet. Actually, she's more like a hair sculptor! A true artist!! I live in Florida, but started coming to Virginia in 2015 to work with a friend making Balloon Animals for a living. Once the pandemic hit, I resorted to having my brother cut my hair, then I tried to do it myself, etc. Mixed results all the way around. I can barely stand ANYONE else cutting my hair except IVOLYN! So when I saw that the Leesburg location closed, my heart broke. But, I searched all the surrounding Hair Cuttery's and finally found her in Purcellville. It's been over 2.5 years since my last cut with her (mid-December 2019) and she just finished cutting my hair. This is the happiest I've been with my hair since then! I went for the Tea Tree massage treatment, and so worth it bc IVOLYN is also very skilled at that as well! SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW!!!

Worst haircut ever. Don't ask for Kayla. She has no idea what the customer wants or actually asks for. No taper = 4 inches above the collar with 2 inches of buzz cut in her mind. This will take 6 months to grow out. I should get a refund!!!!!!!!!!!!! They should get some new stylists.
