International Hair Salon in Minneapolis, MN

Soo usually I don't go to salons for a haircut only. I have been going to hairstylists that are amazing with asian hair and can do haircuts for free/discount with color. I just wanted a simply haircut cause my hair was getting very long. I figured I'd go somewhere inexpensive that had decent reviews on google and yelp. I also saw photos and it wasn't bad. I went into the salon and was quite surprised to see that it was older men cutting hair but I figured if they were experienced, it won't be bad. They charge $25 for a women's haircut that was choppy. I wanted a 3 inches off with long layers that were seamless. I even showed a picture. They had cut my hair shorter than I wanted. The man who did my hair was unprofessional. He didn't even ask me if I wanted to take off my jacket. He just placed the drape over me. I had to ask if I could take off my jacket first because it's puffy and I felt too warm. I thought he would do a quick consultation first and then ask me to remove my jacket. Keep in mind, they don't wash your hair before cutting. Not a big deal but I personally like having my hair washed prior to cuts. They didn't even clean in between clients though. Yikes. I was nice about the turnout cause I didn't want to make it a big deal. They had another client on the other chair. They wouldn't be able to fix it anyways. Their drape isn't that good. I got off the chair and had so much hair on my pants and shoes. Also, some lady who seems to know the owner well came in and cleaned their windows during my visit and she's so obnoxious and uses profanity in front of clients like it's no big deal. I should've ran out when I could. I wanted to get a simple inexpensive haircut, but now Im basically paying more to fix it.

I have been coming here for close to a year now and have had my hair cut by both brothers. Both are very good with male hair cuts and good with fades. They are friendly and services are well priced. Would highly recommend.

I been going to this salon for many years, I tried diff salon but I end up going back! It's affordable and you won't regret it ask for HOA!

Don't even go there!! Uncleanliness and who knows what in the brush?! There only two males working. One male.. he's alright. He can do men and women haircuts. The other one I think he's gay but he not so great on women haircuts. He's horrible! However.. don't even bother to go there.

If I could do zero stars I would. I walked in and there were three people ahead of me. I had time so I waited. The person greeted me. Didn't tell me a wait time. All three finished so I asked if it was my turn. He said no, I had to wait for the three that just walked in. They did NOT have an appointment. This exact scenario has happened four times between myself and my father. My family will NEVER return. They have also gossiped to me about other clients.
