If I could give 100 stars I would. I've always found salon appointments really stressful, I get overstimulated with the noise and activity, then feel socially awkward speaking with the stylist for hours. I so appreciate friendly stylists and want to have a good connection, but sometimes I need to be able to shut down and enjoy some quiet time reading or browsing my phone. Hair appointments never felt like "self care" because my neurodivergent brain just made them so complicated. Courtney took away all the fear and anxiety and legitimately made it the best salon appointment I've EVER had. It finally felt like something I did for myself and I couldn't be happier.

Courtney is that rare stylist who can hear all the things you want, take stock of your hair's current condition, and then help you to come up with a plan that gives you the just right combo of what you want x what you can afford. She fixed a previous stylist's misunderstanding of what I wanted, and gave me the exact look I went in asking for. Highly recommend!

My friend was getting married in April and wanted to refresh my look. I hadn't visited a salon in over 3 years because of my fine, thin hair. I would just cut it (poorly) myself when it got too long to tuck the ponytail under my baseball cap. Then in 2021 I experimented with box dye that left my hair looking truely awful after it faded out. It made my thin hair look even worse. Every salon I had visited in the past would try to sell me thickening products that they would guarantee would help growth and health that ultimately didn't work and wasted my money. Courtney listened to my concerns, helped me find the color and highlight work I wanted online and went straight to work. Her salon set up was bright and cozy, tons of gorgeous plants and great music. We chatted while she worked and she was done before I knew it. I was shocked, my hair had never looked so good. I always wanted to have a full head of hair but I never thought in a million years I could have that. That a trim, good color work and style could make me look this way. I felt confidence in my appearance that I hadn't felt in years. It really was thanks to Courtney's work and patience. I can't thank her enough. The color still looks great and the highlights skillfully camouflage my grey hairs and root grow out. Can't wait to visit again.

Excellent service. My hair feels great when I leave and I always look forward to coming back. Courtney is friendly and professional. I was referred to Courtney after a hair disaster and she fixed it by telling what we could actually achieve and what was best for my hair. Now I will only trust her with my hair!

I have been going to CJ since before she owned her own salon and if I have any say I will continue to go to her until I die. She is the most kind, most talented girl who makes every client feel like her friend. She has a real knack at making every person feel beautiful with her work. She has a true passion for her work and deserves the best.
