Hairvisions in Alexandria, VA

After letting my hair grow out for over seven months, I went to Hairvisions to get a short, layered bob. I brought a photo of the type of bob I wanted. I'm very happy with the excellent haircut Kim gave me. It was exactly what I wanted. I found everyone in the salon very pleasant and polite.

If I was just Rating my former hair stylist, Donna, I would rate this place at least 4 stars. However, since we moved back to the area, suddenly I'm told they are booked or too busy, no matter when I call. And they tried to push me on Kim saying Donna doesn't work much on Saturday or they close at 2 pm. I think it's because the owner Kim used to do my highlights, but she wasn't there on day so Donna cut my hair. I really liked it and went back a nothwr time. Now I get constant rejection that they are "currently booked" even when I ask for a time somewhere invthe next four months. I think the receptionist trying to push me back with Kim is sign enough that I either go with Kim or I will just be told they are booked for the next yetor whatever. They are not that great a place, old chairs to sit in, but I liked Donna for the haircut & Kim for highlights, but since they want to force me to do both with Kim, I will just skip this place all together. Such pettiness I cannot stand, and there are many other salons around. I just wanted to go there mostly because the salon is right around the corner, but it was all too weird tonight with their receptionist either insisting I do both (highlights and cut) with Kim, or when I asked for Donna was told they were booked indefinitely. Never had such a weird thing occur in my life and I didn't want "both" anyway! I just wanted a cut and feel Donna cuts my hair better! Sorry Kim!

Best salon in the MV/West Potomac area. My wife and I have been going for years and see either see Kim Ann or Donna for our hair cut/styles and coloring. They are the best!
