HairMasters in Puyallup, WA

I was recently fired from hair masters because I missed 2 weeks due to having Covid. And that my service per hour wasn't as high as people who've been in the industry 2x or 3x longer than me I was fired without warning or any write ups. I was also not given many people Some days they would put nobody on the books for me. Then used that as a reason they fired me. My manager was nice My co workers were very helpful But the district leader / owner of the company is very rude. She waited for me to drop hundreds of dollars on new hair equipment before firing me I worked very hard and brought in lots of new people to the business. I was fired unfairly and felt extremely hurt and attacked by how I was fired and the ridiculous reasons she claimed to fire me. If you're a semi new stylist who can't make the salon $30 or more an hour. Don't bother applying because you will Be fired with no warning even if you are improving and excelling in your cosmetology journey

Really irritating that I have to write this review. My dad came in for a walk in and no one even acknowledged him. A woman and her son also come in for a walk in, no appointment but are helped before my dad. Nice. I don't want to pull the race card or anything but that seemed to be the issue here. Get your head out of your dirty colonizing ass.

Sheena porter was the stylist, I play roller derby my look is important as I am constantly photographed in my bouts( games) I came in with fade blue green that started out purple it faded amazing the only reason for switching color was because of 34 years of stress poppin out my roots in gray form. Haha I didn't choose her out of the blue she had been telling me for awhile how she does hair and was consistently commenting on my fb profile how she would love to do my hair. I had a vision one was Harley quinn and my hair wouldn't take to that much bleach she said. So she took color out using whatever products used to do so. She had the option of doing her own artistic creation on my hair. All I said was I need to look derby still.. Ccx Today I am getting sewed in extensions because of horrible this turned out

Love bee! She's awesome! She will do or try anything you ask of her! She's friendly and really has a way of making your day!

So we had a half hour and decided to give this place a try. We arrived at 5:28PM on a Sunday. My daughter has long hair that needed a simple trim. A gal with purple hair was starting to check us in when a gal that was cutting hair interrupted to say we have a kid cut coming in so they refused to cut my daughter's hair. Of course, said "kid cut" never showed. I am uncertain if the gals were lazy and didn't want to work the end of their shift or if it was more nefarious. I should have simply believed their Yelp rating to begin with I guess! Lesson learned.
