I have had two haircuts here now and I'm still unimpressed. The first one was with Laura. She seemed new. Very sweet but took forever to cut my hair and didn't quite do what I asked her to do. When I called back they asked me to come back in and Janny fixed it for me. I was happy. Last time I went also it seems my hair wasn't quite how I wanted but I didn't realize it because I asked her to show me how to curl my own hair and my cut really shows on my natural hair (straight). However Janey was really nice and my experience was good. But I like Janny and will go back for another try. Third times a charm right? I'll update my review based on my next visit.

I went to HCX for years.  Until my last visit.  I went in with my hair the color I liked it. It was just too much  work to keep doing  on my own.  It was the wrong color when I left so the hairdresser made me a second appointment to "fix" the issue.  I left with green hair after the second appointment.  I went in for a third appointment with a senior stylist and a manager because the person who gave me green hair was too uncomfortable to try again.  I was told she shouldn't have told me she could give me the color I wanted and they could either give me highlights or my money back.  I clearly took the money back.  I went to another salon to get the green rectified.  They refused to color my hair because they said HCX had done so much damage to my hair that they, in good conscience, could not do any more processing.  So, while I got my money back, I didn't get back the hours of my life wasted and I ended up with damaged and destroyed green hair.  COMPLETLEY UNDID THE YEARS OF GOOD EXPERIENCES I HAD.  And for management to think a simple refund of what I paid made up for sending me away with green hair blows my mind.

I moved from another state and left my hair stylist of 7 years, and amazingly found Joycelyn here at Haircolorxperts. I didn't know quite what I wanted, but I left with exactly what I had in mind, without even knowing it. They also have fun discounts/gift raffles and birthday discounts. And they all wear masks and require guests do as well. For me, that is a huge plus!

Very good experience. Allison is the best!  Excellent listening and creative ability is awesome! I highly recommend her.

First, I wish I could leave a Zero star.  That should tell you something. I was coming here for a few years with 3 stylists, which have since left, first Marina, then Jessica and Rechna who have also left. The products were not best and were expensive but I like those 3 stylists. I was away since Feb 2018 and returned this past summer. I've been going somewhere else because every time I called for an apt. they were never available; they had always made some time for me.  I would not schedule with anyone else, though nobody ever mentioned that both were also no longer there.  I found this out when I went to make an apt, in person, and began by asking for them first. Long story short, I made an apt. with another stylist, Katherine.  3 days later, and 3 before the apt, I get a call from this Katherine telling me she forgot to ask me for $50 advance payment...???? And after a few questions, she tells me my "file" shows I have cancelled apts before, to which I tell her not at all - me? NOT at all! To what she states "sorry, 'rescheduled' apts in the past; the last being in Feb. " I told her that's not possible - I was not sure what had been written in the so-called file but I have not even been in the country since last year... and why was this not brought up when I was there. From what she quoted me, they are nickel-and-diming the customer and now even what advance payments??!!!  Also, for a "senior stylist", and rates, Katherine's schedule was completely open for appointments throughout the week. If these incidents and Katherine's behavior are examples, this business seems to have become extremely unprofessional and a very VERY low level money grabber.
