Remember how grandma had old dusty furniture, stacks of magazines piled as high as your waist, soap operas on full blast and sun-faded art on the walls? Yep, this nail salon is like stepping back in time and I half expected one of the ladies to offer me a bowl of forever-stuck-together ribbon candy. The prices are right for the level of service and they took me as a walk-in, which I liked. Good and steady polish that wasn't rushed is also a bonus.

I had the worst experience ever. A 15 minute pedicure left with 3 bleeding places on my toes. Blood on the towel. The girl after me also left with two bleeding cuts. Her name was Bea. I told the manager she told me I had tender skin. Did the 20 yr. old bleeding also have tender skin. Again the manager did nothing. Never again '

I have gone to this salon a number of years ago and they were good. I went for a basic manicure today. The gal who did it was at the front station when I arrived with her bare feet up on the towel covering the place where they do your nails. It just never occurred to me that this would continue. She did my nails (on the same towel) and did a good job. But while they were drying, I could see that she was back to sitting with her bare feet up on the same towel that she had used under my hands. I then had a problem with one of the nails and went to let her know. She sat up, fixed it but went back to putting her feet on that same towel again. The other two operators did not seem to think it was unusual. Something was definitely wrong - basic hygiene for one thing. Will not go back.
