Eva's Nail and Spa in Kansas City, MO

Terrible service. Color selection was bad, I was asking Eva if they had any premium colors and she kept saying this is all we have until she overheard me on the phone telling someone that I had been paying $200+ every time I leave other nailshops to which she responds "oh well if you have money I have more" and the guy that works there said "give her $150 she hook you up since you have money" once she finished she said "ok no more complaining?" I got an acrylic overlay on my natural nails that is so lumpy you wouldn't believe that I didn't have tips. I got my eyebrows and lashes done by her as well. One brow is arched and the other is rounded. I told her that I wanted thin natural looking lashes and it literally looks like these individuals are thick beauty supply strip lashes and half of the bunches came off the next day. Steven did my pedicure and was really sweet. I honestly questioned his technique but he did a good job the one star (Since I'm forced to give a star) would go to him because the rest of the establishment doesn't deserve a single star

I will never be back to this establishment. Customer service skills are awful. Eva did a full set on my nails and 5 days later a nail broke. The guy continued to tell me that after a week a fill is needed, but when I would get a fill they would say every 2-3 weeks. Eva is very unprofessional and will rush on your nails. I got square nails and they were wide and bulky. If you want a pleasant relaxing experience, don't come here and let Eva touch your nails. The lady that does pedicures does a good job, but will almost force you to get gel. I forgot to mention when I called to complain the first time Eva hung up on my face. I plan on getting in contact with the BBR about this horrible establishment.

Horrible attitude & Racist Owners !! This place was referred by a co-worker I work for the state so I always try to keep things professional as possible. I went in the first time & my nails turned out okay. The second time I went Eva 's daughter did my nails they came off in a week & a half my nails had horrible damage & they were lifting , burning & bleeding. The 3rd time I went like the lady said in the previous review Eva was very rude & saying she doesn't like doing black women's nails & that her friends who own other nail shops in Kansas City don't like it either . The shop was empty that day with no clients . When I asked her why she said that she got defensive & told me to go . This nail shop is located in the bad side of town & I'm surprised they haven't failed many inspections because the shop is very unsanitary .I found a new shop that was beautiful in Olathe & they even served wine & they also have a kiosk to check in. Do not go to Eva's nails you will regret it

The person who did my full set did a good job putting them on. However I paid $60 all together and had to go the next day to get them redone at another nail salon because the design was so horrible. It was an amateur job & the worst ive ever had. Probably wont return here unless im desperate

I guess my good experience with Eva Nails ended w/ Eva's daughter....I hate to do this but I was treated like crap by Eva!

I usually get my nails done at home in Colorado...but when I'm down here I see Eva's daughter ( although its not the fanciest shop I am a loyal customer & Eva's daughter is VERY GOOD at designs!)
I needed my nails fixed....basically just freshened up as they were still fairly new...but I had a
3-d design & the stones were popping off...it looked bad! lol

I came in...asked for Eva's daughter...Eva told me she was not available today...she even remembered me from previous visits & remembered I was from Colorado. I told her what I wanted she agreed...told me to sit & wait. As I waited about 15 min...I noticed her telling others there was 3-4 people ahead of them to see her. That's when I asked how long ...I figured I could go grab something to eat & come back when she's ready for me. But it seemed Eva got defensive (she may have thought I wanted to leave for good?) I explained to her I would go & come back. And I set the color I chose for my nails down. That's when she told me my nails could not be repaired & she would only do a full set! She actually refused to fix them! Said she would only do a full set! ( I have gotten a full set many times WHEN I NEEDED IT...even pedicures here!)

When I come in I am always polite, ALWAYS tip, & wrote a great review a while back! But that is horrible customer service & total disregard to loyalty. So after driving from shop to shop (most were too busy...long wait time). I finally found Solar Nails...I was treated like an old friend there even though I have never been there before! The next time I'm in town I will skip Eva nails & head straight to Westport to see my friends at Solar Nails!! Check them out I just finished writing them a review too!
