Regal Nails, Salon & Spa in Kansas City, MO

I came in for a mani/pedi. So the employees were kind and respectful. That is sadly where the good review ends. The pedicure was okay but she placed my feet in extremely hot water (the lady next to me had the same complaint) and didn't bother testing it first. The manicure is where it took a turn for the worst. She cut my cuticle area and it wouldn't stop bleeding. So halfway through we had to stop the service. She offered to paint all my nails but that one finger but I opted to come back later that week. They still charged me for the entire service and then when I got home I realized I was overcharged $5.00. So I came back for my refund and requested (since my finger stopped bleeding) to go ahead and paint my nails. That was on a Sunday and Monday night the color is already chipping. I will never return here. Very low quality service.

Do NOT come here, even if the price is "right!" Upon arrival, they sat me down and excessively messaged my arms with lotion without explanation. After sitting with my fingers in cold water and arms soaked in white goop for 30+ minutes, I nearly got up due to being in a time crunch. Before I knew it, another lady called me over to her station. She began cutting my cuticles so aggressively that they began to bleed. Next, I asked if my nails could be cut down as stated in the service description. My nail technician scrubbed my nails with a file until they looked rigid and had dust all over my hands. Without even making the edges smooth, she immediately began painting my nails. The painting part went OK, but it would have gone better if I had smooth nails and not tons of dust underneath them.  The nails themselves looked good, but they charged me $30 instead of the $17.99 advertised price. I got charged the extra $$$ because they decided to message my arms for 30+ minutes. Go to a real nail salon!!

My daughter and I decided to get pedi/mains yesterday with Tamy  and Kim. Not only was it relaxing, our nails were the prettiest ever. They made mom/daughter time memorable with our special toenail artwork.
Not only am I happy with my nails, I know it always lasts longer than services from other salons. I have been here before and tried others. I am going to be loyal here. Besides you can shop at Walmart while you are there.

The woman who did my nails today was nice and extremely friendly. I made an appointment the night before but was told to go shop for 15-20 minutes because the nail tech was running behind. It took 2+ hours for a pink and white. After pointing out numerous mistakes and watching her attempt to correct them I gave up. I left with three crooked nails and 2 cuts from her nicking me. All my nails look sloppy...the sides are uneven and the tips are varying degrees of thickness AND one of my nails has a chip in it!! Worst experience ever!!

I wouldn't recommend this nail shop unless you're pressed for time and can't make it to another one. They don't sanitize their tools and they reuse items that should be disposed.
