Love my hair cut every time! Very professional staff that goes above and beyond to get you what you want!

I had been everywhere trying to find a good haircut anywhere in Richmond. I tried other places in Carytown, Libbie and Grove, the Fan, I even went out to Short Pump once! After living here a few years, I resorted to either cutting my hair once a year or cutting it during my trips back home to Europe. Then, I saw someone with a great haircut and asked her where she went in Richmond. Usually, the response is that they do not get their hair cut in Richmond. This was different! She was a Richmond native and said "Ceco Studio". So, I made my appointment. It was wonderful! I have finally found a place that cuts my hair well! The price is very reasonable and I got my scalp fully massaged before the haircut. This was beyond the usual salon treatment, it was a full on scalp massage that completely relaxed me. Then I got my hair cut by Steven who asked what I wanted. I wanted my hair short as it had been a year since my last haircut, but I like to give the stylist some freedom, so I told him to do what he wanted. He decided to keep my hair long, trimming the ends and then carefully curling it with a straightening iron. It was amazing! My hair had never looked so good! He taught me how to style my hair the way he had done. Then, I had my makeup freshened! It was fabulous! I left there looking great and most important, feeling great! Absolutely wonderful experience! I've gone back and never been disappointed. I've been a customer now for 2 years. I like to change things up a lot and I can tell you, whether you want a short hair cut or a long hair cut, you will always leave looking fabulous!

Absolutely wonderful experience! I had my hair cut by Steven and he did an amazing job. The atmosphere was very welcoming and comforting. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone looking.

I was super excited about trying out this place in Carytown. What a nice way to relax on Friday afternoon at 5:15pm after a long work week... or so i thought. It was a good thing my boyfriend had won a gift certificate to ceco for a free mani & peni, the only comforting thing about my experience was the aveda tea i chugged when i sat in the pedicure chair. the nail technician asked ME to take off my nail polish while i was relaxing in the pedi chair (not much relaxing happening at this point) I had shellac previously on my nails so i soaked them for about 20 minutes with acetone and then she handed me a scraper to remove the rest of the polish. Oh and when i say she asked me, it was more like instructed me to do so as they only allow 30 minutes for the appointment and if i didn't do it, we'd go over the allotted time. after the sub-par pedicure, i hobbled to the manicure station, at which point, i wanted to hobble right out of the salon to my car. but it was free, so i thought what the heck. the manicure was even worse, with my nails being literally chopped (the word she used) unevenly and me asking her 3 times to do my cuticles. I mean, i get my nails done 1-2 times a month and HAVE NEVER had to ask for this certain step to be done in a manicure. she clearly didn't know how to cut cuticles. i'm grateful i still have the skin around my nails at this point. she was chatting, i was half listening until she said something about being pregnant. and i said "what did you just say" and she said well aren't you pregnant?! i was like huh?!?! inappropriate and from one woman to another, i believe that is something you never inquire about. to top it off, they don't have nail dryers so she asked me to wave my nails around in the air. if someone has had a great experience here worth sharing, i'd love to hear it. otherwise, i will be spreading the word about how terrible my experience was. i spoke to the manager on the way out explaining the unpleasant experience all around and that i would not be leaving a tip nor be back ever.
