Linda is amazing! I showed her nail art and she recreated it exactly and super quickly. She's also very friendly.

I regularly go to the other Avalon, which I would 100% say go there before this one. My nail lady was very nice and wore a mask the entire time (name vin sp?) The one star is for the other employees, they did not wear a mask in the salon. They did not have clients but instead chose to blast their iPhones for whatever video they were watching being rude. If you expect your clients to wear a mask, you should too. The nail salon, is not Covid conscious. Avoid at all costs

my experience was the worse!! as I walk in the nail salon on a Tuesday night 7:30..I start off getting my toe nails done.. after that I asked the nail tech if I could get a manicure.. she starts off doing my nails half of my nail tips were slanted and wouldn't cover the edge of my nail.. after that she applied acrylic Over the nail so many times ON THE SAME NAIL. it ended up being 9:20 when another nail tech came and helped her.. store closed that day at 9:30.. the other nail tech knew she was doing a horrible job..I eventually told the nail tech if she could take them off.. she placed my fingers in a bag of acetone.. the second nail tech asked me if I could come back the next day unfortunately i wasn't able to she told me the boss would come in and would do my nails in 20-25 mins.. I was relieved thinking boss would have done a professional job boss arrived never smiled at all.. started doing my nails she seemed mad when she was doing my nails. She also did a horrible job was very unfriendly.. I told her one of my nails seem longer than the rest she said no that's how the fingers are!! huh ?!! Will not recommend this place !! Horrible !!

I would give 0 stars if I could. This is also my very first yelp review. This was my first time here & definitely my last. I walked in asking for a gel manicure and removal of my dip powder that was currently on my nails. I never got the name of the lady that did my nails, but she took a while to find the gel polish color I asked for. I saw her rummaging through the drawers trying to find it & she walks over with the color I requested. She proceeds to do my nails as usual & the final step of gel is to wipe the sticky layer off with alcohol, but she used acetone. I asked her why she's using acetone and she tells me it's better than alcohol. I just said "okayyyy" and go to wash my hands because it was super greasy after she used oil to massage my hands. Afterwards we proceed to the register and I look down at my nails and see that it's completely peeling and there were dent marks. I point it out to her and she grabs a nail file & tries to file the edges off that are lifting up.. I was in a hurry so I just said I have to go. I was charged $40 for this mess. The picture attached was taken 15 mins after I left the salon. I called the salon and told them that I think the lady used regular nail polish because I remember the polish was in a clear bottle (gel polish is never in a clear bottle) The lady just asks for my name & hangs up. She doesn't even ask me when I want to come in to get it redone or anything. I also need to point out that the nail file was used previously by another customer & the cuticle nippers were definitely not sanitized before using it on me. The nail tech should have also known the obvious difference between gel & regular polish. Lack of trained employees and customer service will ruin any business in the long run.

I had my first visit yesterday and asked for a full set. I was promptly greeted and seated with the eldest nail tech in the room. I tend to trust older techs a bit more as they have more experience, but this one was absolutely clueless. I asked for a basic coffin shaped nail and had to explain four times how to achieve the desired shape- which she still did incorrectly. She spent over an hour just filing my nails into shape as she did not want to listen to what I was telling her. She also made my finger bleed with the file- not cool. My last issue is that it took ten minutes and two other nail techs to find the nail polish that I asked for. I was VERY unimpressed with the quality of my visit but am willing to go back and sit with a different nail tech. Oh- and the end result of my nails? They're barely shaped. After and HOUR of filing them to shape.
