Love everything about this Salon, and all of the services! Lori is so talented and personable. Love all of the styles we have tried on my hair! I also enjoy Tina's massages - hands down the best I've ever had; as well as Dina's excellent nail services. Everyone makes you feel so comfortable. Fabulous! I highly recommend!
The ladies do fantastic work. I always walk out feeling and looking so much better. Amamda is the only one I trust to do my hair (I have had a couple of bad experiences at other salons in the past). I have also seen some of Lori's (the other hair dresser) clients before and after and they looked gorgeous. As for my nails, well Dina is THE BEST. I highly recommend Astoria Salon, you will not regret it.
I had such a bad experience here. I asked for about 3 inches of length to be cut and for the wispy pieces in front to be trimmed as they had grown out. Ananda cut about 5 inches off, which I can work with but am not thrilled about. The front of my hair though is an absolute mess. It looks like I am growing out my bangs....but I never had bangs. My two thin wispy pieces I keep down when I throw my hair up are now very thick and blunt. They are also uneven and at a very unflattering length. I have never had a hair cut this bad. I would never recommend and would never go back. A huge waste of money and a huge regret trying this place out.
From the minute I called to make my appointment, to the time I left with my new (beautiful) hair cut I had a great experience. Both Lori and Amanda made me feel so comfortable. Between being a new working mom and just finding out I am expecting again, my self care has fallen through the cracks. I havent felt beautiful in a long time. Yesterday I left Astoria feeling more beautiful than I have in a long time. They definitely have a loyal customer in me, now! Thank you ladies so much!
