They're very accommodating getting you in. She didn't talk to me at all which is fine. I definitely didn't feel like it was a good pedicure and manicure. A lot of pain was involved. Lol.
I can't vouch for the quality of work because I ended up leaving before much was done as a result of the misleading pricing. While they advertised at the time that a dip powder set was $40 you couldn't actually go there and get the service done for $40. For example, no matter what shape you wanted your nails they charged an up charge for shaping. This isn't an optional service that you can opt out of and pay the posted rate therefore I feel that's misleading. There was a number of up charges for things normally done as part of the service. I respect that they have a right to price their services as they see fit. I just wish they were a little bit more transparent.
Even in the businesses reply to the review they are misleading. They first deny having any of these upcharges and then do a conversation play by play, where they justify why they have these up charges.
I'm confused.
I am a regular. It is quiet and never overbooked. I am always happy with my dip manicures and pedicures
Horrible experience. I have been going to this salon for a while so I know they are more on the pricy side, which is completely fine with me. I will happily pay the price as long as I leave happy. That was not the case with my most recent visit. I had called a week ahead of time and made an appointment for me and my two friends. Two full sets one gel manicure. None of us were satisfied with the service we received. We payed 85$ each for a full set. One being so thick and the other so thin. We both got gel french. When my tech began applying the hard gel I kindly asked the tech doing my friend if I could have someone else because the man doing my nails was very rude and I was not happy with how they were looking. He denied my request for someone else and told me it was only the first coat of hard gel. I am not a nail technician but I know that hard gel does not get applied in coats. Even if it does then why did he not do my friends nails in multiple coats? After he applied the second coat of hard gel my nails were so lumpy he filed them for about 25 minutes. After I had asked for someone else my tech was so rude and did not speak to me. As for the gel manicure, that cost 50$, the polish was so lumpy. He had asked for them to fix one nail because it was lumpy and they quickly buffed it and applied more top coat. That did nothing. This used to be my favorite place but I will not be returning. Find somewhere better where you will get what you pay for and be treated kindly.
The first time I went here was great. The other times were just okay. Yesterday, I was charged $95 for a lazy job on a manicure and pedicure...didn't even get polish. The woman I had as my technician didn't scrub my feet nor do my cuticles on hands or feet. The file job left my nails breaking today. I can't believe they let me leave like this, absolutely horrible. Will not go back.
