Zin Nails in Indianapolis, IN

Let me just start off by saying - I feel as though the owners heart may be in the right place but it wasn't giving what a SALON is supposed to give. The mark was missed by a billion. I stumbled across this salon because my normal salon accidentally cancelled my appointment and it was too late in the day to go to anywhere else at 6pm on a Friday evening (I had a bridal shower the next morning) I literally typed in nail salon in apple gps and called everywhere that showed they were still open. Given the area, I should have known this was not it (30th and Lafayette road) the owner answered the phone very frazzled and seemingly rushed me off the phone . I said "I show your salon doesn't close until 7pm . Is it okay if my daughter and myself come for full set and pedi's? Her: of course as long as you're here before 7pm you will still be serviced. Bye. *she hung up on the phone* as my mouth opened to ask one last question. We get there and there's literally just one tech and two ladies being finished. I spoke up and told her I was the one on the phone - she reassured me, she'd service us soon. It is now 8pm and she's ready to sit myself and my daughter down in the pedi chairs (neither of them work to do a massage) there's no place to pick out colors . You literally tell her the colors you want and she assesses her inventory and picks the shade SHE THOUGHT was best for us. Smh the pedi bowls did not have liners. I asked if she could put one in and she told me she doesn't use them because she deep cleans the bowl between each customer and that saves her money on liners. P.s. our feet itches for almost a full week and I had to get my daughter cream to put on hers. Moving along to the ambiance- the owner talked about how much money she makes off clients the entire time. She used foul language and kept apologizing to me for saying things in front of my daughter.. she told me she won't be doing a full set on my daughter (13 years old) because she's too young. Smh the owner also sounded like she had a head cold and continuously asked me what she should take for it (while my eyes were closed and I had one AirPod in) she finally got around to doing our nails - as she stated she wasn't going to do a full set in my daughter, she gave her a basic gel mani (no hand massage) she then got to my nails, I asked for almond- she told me it takes her too long to shape that way and she was going to do square .. she continues by hyping her work by saying all her customers request square from her because she's the best in the game. I HATED MY BOXY 2003 looking nails when she was done at 11:15pm. I honestly want her to get shut down because it was the worst nail experience of my life. I left being charged $220 for one full set and two pedicures. Keep in mind, I had short nails and myself and my daughter got simple white gel polish in our nails and toes. Not one design in site. She literally robbed me and I was too tired and outdone to do anything about it. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. We had athletes foot, terrible service & were charged $200+ . I ONLY GAVE ONE STAR BECAUSE YELP MAKES YOU IN ORDER TO WRITE A REVIEW. This shop deserves -0 stars.

got my nails done for the bad bunny concert and was MORE than satisfied with Zin's work! a custom set that lasted forever, and the quality was BOMB
