I decided to go lighter this past spring, and my hair has grown out very naturally. Instead of covering my hair with bleach, Haley took the time to blend lightness into my natural hair color. This left me with multi-dimensional color and a more "lived in" look. I can even change my part between side and middle, which is not easy to do! The best part of coming to The Mae is that I feel safe leaving my hair in my stylist hands. Not only do I get the results I'm looking for, but I know my hair will be taken care of with their quality products. I'm so looking forward to my next haircut in December!
Went last week to get my hair done by Vivian and she was amazing! I tried bleaching my hair at-home and it came out brassy and patchy. Fortunately, Vivian was able to rescue it and did a great job with cutting layers that suited my face-shape. As an Asian-american, I really appreciate seeing representation in my hair stylists since they have lived-experience in working with my hair type :) Would highly recommend!

Had my first appointment here 2 months ago and back for my touch up/hair cut. Realized I never posted to rave about just how great this salon is! They're currently finishing up construction to expand but in the stages of the expansion, they've always been just as warm & welcoming. I had not colored my hair in more than 5 years and had zero idea what exactly I wanted. I was treated so respectfully and Susan and I were able to test out a darker color without it being too drastic. The shop is full of affirming, supportive quotes and merchandise.
