Josette does a great blowout. Next time I'll try the keratin treatment. I saw one of her keratin customers walk out with hair like silk. You can also book a great mani-pedi at high 5. One stop beauty!
I found Josette on yelp when I searched for "best hair stylists" near Marin. I was visiting from Boston for a wedding and needed someone good and reliable. I was very happy with how Josette styled my hair. She took her time and listened to what I wanted. Really nice woman and very talented!

This review is time tested and true. Long overdue. When I left High 5 Salon my hair looked fantastic. As it's grown out, it still looks great! Josette has some serious skills.
She mentioned she loves doing blow outs, but I'm a curly/curly girl. Don't have the patience to fight it and go curly/straight. I've suffered from the mushroom cut, to the mullet and the dreaded triangle of little to no layers. The layers Josette cut in my hair were absolutely perfect from day one to the next time I'll be sitting in her chair.
Don't let the location of the salon throw you for a loop. I actually popped in after reading other reviews on yelp since I thought - what lurks behind Dario's?? It's actually a cute little salon that's clean with easy parking. And she makes booking super easy over text, which is an added plus.
If you let your curls rock or if you're patient enough to straighten them out, then you're lucky to have found this review! You will be in good hands in Josette's chair and thankful you found her too!!
I went to see Josette for a blow out a few weeks ago, and reserved my Yelp review for after I saw her today for a cut and highlights. Josette is awesome! She gave me the best cut I have had in the 3 years that I've lived in the Bay area, and I love my highlights too. She is very methodical, focused, precise and personable. I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Josette, I'm happy to say I finally found what I've been looking for, and I'll be back!
