My daughter was so excited to get her hair done for birthday. She picked out they style she wanted. 2 feed in braids with 2 connecting cornrows on the sides. The photo example was sent to Meeka ahead of time and she quoted $70 and said to bring your own hair. My mother in law took her to get it done and she came home with 2 feed in cornrows at the same price quoted for 4. I called and spoke to meeka who said "I told her I forgot 2 of the braids and she was fine with it". Yes my 13 year old daughter didn't feel comfortable telling a grown woman that she didn't do what was paid for. I asked if we could possibly get a discount on a future service since she only did half the style we asked for and she said you can come get the $10 tip back.
I hate to leave a negative review for this place because the owner and workers are lovely. However, my experience with the new nail tech Yolanda was nothing short of awful. She was a polite person but my nails are bumpy and not fully painted. They are also different than what I had requested. She was incredibly rough with my hands (especially when filing) to the point where she cracked my skin open on a few fingers. Furthermore, she left product on my skin. I was not informed that I couldn't pay with card until it was time to pay, at which point she told me what ATM I could walk to. I felt this was also quite unprofessional. Again, she was a fairly polite person but this was a terrible experience overall and very unsatisfactory work.
Love going here. The atmosphere is laid back, all of the employees are very nice, and Larice does an amazing job with pedicures and nails. I get acrylic and gel, perfect each time. Her products are great quality and I've never had any issues with nails breaking or lifting.
Thank you Larice for slaying my nails and toes!! yes she killed it. Got my coffins on point and my French pedi. For once i understood everyone and everything going on in the shop and not sad about it. She was ready for me and made me and my daughter feel like queens!! Hit her up for excellent and professional care! Yesssss!!!
I was so impressed with the unique decor walking into this salon. I loved the beautiful handmade floors that complimented the warm tones on the walls.
