I came here because I saw that it was cheap but it wasn't even cheap, the prices parallel other places if not cost even more. The experience also wasn't very nice, although my hair looked fine after, Yen did not even dry my hair for me after drenching it wet. She was quite rude to me the entire appointment making offhand comments about me and my life. She also did not cut my hair like the pictures I showed.
I've been getting my haircut by Yen for over 15 years. Always great cut. Always a good price.
Around 10:45am, I called to make an appointment for a haircut. To my surprise, she was able to see me the same day at 11:30am. On the phone, she asked how long my hair was. I let her know my hair was a few inches below my shoulder. This was a good question on the phone because I know a woman's cut can take longer than a men's cut. But she accommodated me still, which I'm grateful for!
When I was there, she listen to what I wanted. I said I wanted a trim, long layers, and face framing. After cutting my hair myself during the pandemic, I was mainly wanting her to fix the uneven and choppy ends.
Since I have thick hair, she spent a lot of time making it even, giving me layers, and face framing.
We also had good conversations about our family.
Will be going back! Cash only!
Highly recommend this place for an affordable, simple haircut. Had a great experience last time and definitely will be a repeat customer. Call ahead to make an appointment. Cash only!
