Upscale Nail Lounge in Woodbridge, VA

I found this place on Instagram. I thought great a nice salon let's try this. So I booked an appointment online for 930am. 3 weeks in advance. A week before, the tech texted me and said she already had someone that day. . Umm ok. She asked if I could come later I told her I wasn't available. I told her the day after I was free. So I asked for the 930am on the following day. And she said we don't open till 1130. So I said okay I won't be able to do that. And i mentioned that the website allows me to book at 930 and she said well we're not open. (Who has hours available but not open on the site??) anywho. She said she would come in early for me so I said that'd be great. I showed up on time and she had the WORST ATTITUDE. Grabbing my hand, drilling my skin. I truly tried to be nice but I was so uncomfortable. So I sat through a 4 hour appointment. Mind you I only got my nails done nothing else. My nail was broken in half and I told her I was worried about it but she told me once the acrylic was on it it would be ok .... (Not how it works but okay). On top of that when it got to wanting a design she was charging me $5 per nail. $55 for a few lines on each finger???? That's ridiculous. But whatever, I was willing to pay regardless. I told her that was fine all 10 nails. She did 4. 4. Who asked you to do 4? I wasn't gonna say anything. Clearly she was trying to get me out of there. I left and once I actually examined my nails, polish wad missed on the edges. The top coat didn't even make it on the polish in some places I could see the gaps it was awful. Just not professionally done. A week later I pulled my phone out from the charger and that nail that was in half already and just had acrylic over it just popped off. Like it was nothing. So I reached out and told her that I needed it done asap because I had an event that evening. So she fit me and she was super nice like overly nice. I'm not sure if that's because other people were in the salon or what but either way. Then charged me $10 to fix it. I literally told you before you did it that it would break. What happened to listening to the client? If I'm uncomfortable with something just hear me out. You're not the one dealing with the finished product on the daily. So take into consideration the customers. Either way I'll never be back. If I could do zero stars I would.

Very disappointed in this minority owned business. I have called and left TWO messages trying to schedule an appointment for a Groupon that my daughter purchased for me, on Valentine's Day. No one ever answers the phone or returns messages. I am going to cash in the Groupon and patronize a business that actually wants my money. What a disappointment, the last time I went here over two years ago, bad experience, gel polish rolled right off of my nails and had to return for redo. The owner erased my commentary immediately about the gel polish not sticking to my nails. I only speak the truth. I hope you all have a better experience than I did. Taking my business elsewhere Smdh.

Went on Saturday was the last appointment. They didn't rush they took their time. The were very sanitary. Loved it! Little on the pricey side but was well worth the work they put in.

I showed up at 4. There was no one there it took the tech 30 mins to seat me. Took her almost two hours to do my pedi. Then took another 2 hours on my mani. The owner checked me out and saw my manicure and still charged me $91!!!!! She even told me to my face she wasn't going to charge me because it took so long. I paid anyways but I do think it should have came out of her to not charge at all the service was beyond poor. I pay $83 for a gel mani pedi and to have my nails fixed (natural nails, I usually will break them and she fixes it for me) so to pay $91 and have my nails look the way they do is ridiculous. She said she would give me a call today still haven't heard from her at 4:05 pm. If she would have better customer service I would have probably came back to have them fix it and give them another try but no I will never go back there again. And I will make sure to share my experience with anyone I know in the area. I get my nails done every 2 weeks and when I lived in woodbridge I paid $150 every 2 weeks to my tech at risana day spa unfortunately she moved and so did I to herndon. But my point is if you take care of your clients thats the type of money you could be making. Imagine a full house every two weeks with people paying $150 your business would do great. I paid and tipped for this horrible service only because my husband owns a business and I respect that alot. But I will not support them again.

I went for the first time a few weeks ago. I went in for a basic pedicure and added the callous treatment while there. I was the only customer there so I didn't have to wait or anything. The nail tech was very nice. I'll come back and plus I'll be supporting a black owned business.
