Ask my friends and family: I'm not a huge makeup person. But I had bought a few items from an online retailer, and I had the option to return them at this store! Plus, I would get a discount to use at Ulta once I dropped of my returns.

So off I went.... They only had one cashier and lots of people in line. My return transaction was fairly quick, but once I find an item I wanted to use my new coupon on, I was back in that line! Maybe it was the day/time, but typically when you see multiple people in line, you call for backup.

I'm sympathetic for the most part about being short staffed. But one night me and several other women were trying to shop at ulta on a Tuesday night at 5pm. They were randomly closed. No note on the door, no explanation. But there were three girls inside the store just standing around. Maybe they just closed, maybe it was an emergency. I'm not sure. But it was very odd and inconvenient when there didn't seem to be any managers on site.

Customer service is not as good as it should be and workers are not very helpful. They would not allow my mother to come pickup my online order even though i needed my order the day of and i would not be able to get my order myself. I called to explain my situation, but the lady said I could only cancel my order, even though that would not work because it already charged my card and gift card. I have been a customer of Ulta's for a while now, but I will limit my purchases there to only necessities because of this poor service.
