Ulta Beauty in Avon, IN

Amazing and clean environment. I love shopping for make at Ulta. It's a make up artist dream come true. Also a great place for shopping vloggs and huals and prodeuct views and stuff. Just a pretty girls dream. I would love to see a Barbie colored Ulta beaty. Lol

My name is alyssa R baker. I live in Indy, I wanted to do a small little review so hopefully HR ends up seeing this.

So I applied at Avon Ulta beauty for part time because I'm still in college, but I ended up getting hired! Not even 4 days in, girls are talking bad about me, when I say " girls I mean the employees that work there at Avon Ulta, I did report it to the manger that I had some issues with another girl being rude to be for no reason. Just because I'm assuming she wanted to me mean to me because I was new to the job. I simply asked to either not work with her or either to have a talk with her so we don't have another issue in the store. Letting customers see that isn't professional at all. I tired to avoid, but within a week later, I came to work and got accused of stealing a cheese cake I didn't even know was in the fridge, and a coat when I bring my own sweaters. Nobody believed me when I told them I didn't take anything from anyone. I even said to check the cameras. I'm assuming nobody did check the cameras though because I never heard about it again until I asked a girl name Chole for gram crackers and she said "okay" Ok means yes if you ask. Should've told me "no" if had an issue. But she made her friend confront me about them! Over food, I said yes I asked, she started a whole thing in front of 4 customs. 2 of them said to me that I should quit and leave because they're "petty" and that they aren't coming back to Avon also, :/ so,  I ended up leaving at that Minute, because I don't need to come to a job and get accused for things I don't know about or didn't do, that's what the cameras are for? right !???

I am a 21 year old female I don't need to go to a job that has high school drama in it and girls pick on others girls "because nobody likes me" well nobody goes to work to be liked we all work to pay bills! So yes I did walk out and quit right then and there. I did apologize for the sudden leaving.
But I don't regret it!

I have also done a report to Plainfield, because I love how Plainfield mangers helped me out! You guys rock btw!

I wear makeup once every two years - I'm going to be in a wedding next week so it's that time again.
So, as someone who doesn't wear makeup, picking and buying makeup is nauseating to me. Before I came in, a friend recommended some products and told me questions to ask the staff. The staff was so helpful - I think there were four people working and all four asked if I needed help during my visit. And I did. So they were all super helpful pointing me in the right direction, color matching me for foundation, and recommending products.

I had my toddler with me and noticed upon entry that they don't have carts (understandable for a store that sells mostly very small things) - so my little guy was in his stroller the whole time. When I left, someone grabbed the door for me and I really appreciated it.

We went here for the first time and it literally smelled like a port-a-potty & was very hot in the store. I don't know what was up with that, but it made it unbearable during the visit and we don't really want to go back because of it. Shelves were kinda messy in the hair care areas.

Not too impressed by this location. Staff wasn't friendly and a lot of products that I've seen in the Plainfield store was not at this one. Smaller. I wish we could get a damn Morphe store already. Probably won't go back to this location for my MUA needs.
