They were very rude to me their , came out sad and angry never going back . If you ask what you want specifically to your nails and it's almost time to close they'll will snap at you , treat you poorly because their super ready to leave and get off .
So I ended up going to the salon because there was not many places I could do a walk-in on a Friday and scored a appointment here. This place is most wonderful! The woman who did my pedicure was so kind and we had a great conversation, plus you did a fantastic job. Plus the massage chairs are straight out of heaven. Great prices too!!
Walked in and the owner (?) was very abrupt, in a hurry, and not very kind. They also did not specify pricing especially when showing different nail polish colors and I ended up paying significantly more than I anticipated. I was also just told to immediately "pick a color", "make a decision" and then just told to "sit here" while he started hurriedly working on my niece without any explanation of options, direction, anything. I felt like we were an inconvenience for being there.
My actual nail tech was nice and did a great job. I'd just recommend more introduction to their options and transparency on prices depending on what color you pick.
My first and last trip to this salon. Only reason I'm giving it one star is because staff were pretty nice people. Scheduled for gel pedi and powder dip mani and was out in less than an hour. Everything seemed super rushed and they were not even busy. The tech that did my manicure literally did not pick up a single tool to clean up cuticles prior to applying powder dip. For a $90 visit I would expect a little more time spent to feel like you're actually being pampered a little.
Have been coming to j&q for years! Love getting my nails done by Quyhn. She's very attentive to detail & very nice. I always get compliments on my nails and my dip lasts so long! Love this shop!
