Tiki Wellness Spa (now Kona Sun Spa) in Kailua-Kona, HI

I hate to lie in the sun...its a waste of my time and it takes too long to get a nice even tan. Tiki Tan now renamed Kona Sun Spa, to the rescue. In minutes, twice a week, my color looks tan and healthy and my red light session helps me look young. Kona Sun is great, with something for everyone, with a clean, beautiful relaxing place, with friendly staff, who make us feel welcomed and cared about. The new owner, Laurie Hawkins has so many special touches, from the beautiful decor to chocolates on the beds, to refreshing water to enjoy. The establishment is super clean and much appreciated by me. I look forward to my twice weekly visits! They also have red light therapy, spray tans and a boutique with many items to choose from. And if you happen to go late in the day, after school, you might run into Laurie's adorable daughter, who will warmly greet you, "Welcome to Kona Sun...how may I help you?" Kona Sun Spa is my happy place.

I found this spot on Yelp and I can't say how thrilled I was with the facilities and service. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful with the entire process. Loved their booth and the cleanliness of the shop. Can't recommend enough!

Please don't let the name mislead you... this place is so much more than just a tanning salon!  From the moment you walk in the door and are greeted by the owner, you look around at the fabulous decor and you know you have stepped into a little bit a paradise in Hawaii.  
Donna is very knowledgeable about her products and services.  I had never heard of red light therapy until she educated me about all of the benefits.  (if you don't believe me, just google it).  There are always some great packages available for whatever it is you are trying to achieve.  
Give this place a try... you will NOT be disappointed!

The red light has been a life saver for me with depression and dealing with concussion.

It's close to Dr Roberts whom I see when I drive to Kona from Volcano for my treatments to help my concussion. So it's easy for me to go to both before heading home with the long drive.
