The Studio Waxing & Beauty Bar in Montgomery, AL

I have been going to The Studio multiple times and always had the best times with the estheticians.

However, I booked a Brazilian for an extremely important photoshoot the following day. My appointment was at 5:00. I knew they had just recently moved locations, so I went on their website, and clicked on their location, and used the google maps directions to get there... Google Maps dumps me in the middle of retirement community.. I'm driving around, trying to look at the numbers on the houses and trying to look for signs, thinking maybe I missed something. At 5:06, I get a text message that I've been marked as a no show, so I call the studio to try to get them to enlighten me where they are. I call four times, three times ringing and ringing before going to voicemail. The fourth time, someone finally answers and immediately puts me on hold. I sit on hold for 10 minutes and 32 seconds (it is now 517) before she comes back on the phone.

I explain I have a 5 o'clock appointment but my maps seems to have put me in the wrong location and I'm having difficulty finding them. She says "oh we're in the same shopping center as anytime fitness" cool, I know where that is. She asks for my name and goes "oh... you were supposed to be here at five" and I said "yeah that's what I'm trying to tell you but the website address is wrong and puts you in a retirement community" she said "the address isn't wrong" I said "okay but clearly google takes you to the wrong location. If you want my moeny, I can be there in  just a second I'm a block away" she said "there's no need to speak to me that way. I'm busy" and hung up the phone.

So I finally locate the salon, which has no signage on the building to tell me where they are. I go in and ask to speak to the manager, and there is just an aesthetician sitting with the girl at the front desk. I tell them who I am, and I show them when you click on their website, that maps takes you to a location across Atlanta highway and down the street. She says "well it's not my problem that google put you there. Everyone else seemed to be able to find it" okay.... So because I couldn't find your store that google can't even locate correctly, and I try to call you to tell you why I'm late and I'm trying to find you.. you tell me you're too busy to answer the phones in a timely fashion and then penalize the customer for being late???? She said "well I was going to work you in?" Oh after you told me that it's not your problem, and that you don't care that I was literally in the process of finding it? Okay, well then I don't need to give you my money anyway. As I walk out, there's another customer in the parking lot who noted to me that the girl working the front desk also gave her an attitude because the same thing happened to them.

Unfortunately, really cute place and really good aestheticians but I will never go back after the way the customer service I received. Truly cannot recommend this place to my worst enemy.

This was a wonderful experience! I drove in from out of town and this place was awesome. The staff professional and friendly and very quick. I was very pleased! Shannon you were great!!!!!!!

Ok, first you have to understand, the location is a bit, well, not great. But once you get to Summer all that is no big deal. She is AMAZING! Makes you feel right at ease, almost makes you forget what you are about to do. Her demeanor is excellent! She is personable and professional. Her work was outstanding. Can't recommend highly enough! Thanks Summer!
