The Braid Factory in Minneapolis, MN

Always a wonderful result ! I always come here to get my hair done before vacation and it always looks great ! The women here work hard and deserve 5 stars ! Thank you for always doing my hair so perfect !

I've been going to the braid factory for many years and I'm deciding to leave a honest review for others. 1. The owner is very unprofessional like I said I've been going there for years and everytime I come in she asks have you been here before (like really smh). 2. I set up.an appointment for Z and she didn't even do my hair another lady did (she was nice and did a good job) I thought that was crazy and unprofessional. 3. I came in a 10am and didn't leave until 5pm (mind you I got small box braids that she tried to over charge for). 4. They seem to cater to fair skin people (light skin people) 3 customers came in AFTER ME (they had light skin) left BEFORE I did... smh I thought that was crazy. Also while waiting (for someone to start braiding my hair) they offered everyone in the shop some Ethiopian coffee (you guessed it... except me) I thought that was rude and unprofessional (mind you I had been there since 10am). 4. They always try and talk you out of your hair style you want because they don't want to do it or don't know how... but they only want to do box braids. Then they want to over charge you for them (they give you one price then say it's something else) and upcharge you later... the owner is very slick. She will try to talk you into getting BOX BRAIDS. 5. I came in on my day off so I was really laid back in the way I dressed, but I'm a professional woman with a great career that makes ALOT of money each year, but I got the impression that they thought I was just a young unintelligent girl... THEY THOUGHT WRONG! 6. It's alot of judgment that go's on in there they talk about people in their language it's a bit uncomfortable and unprofessional. I'm going to end with this... will I go back... that's to be determined... because when I was done they seemed like they had an attitude and was rude(she had an attitude because she wanted more money) I'm a very great tipper so I definitely would have tipped well but the wait time and everything else was unexceptable. I may have go out to Brooklyn Park where they treat you well. This place is just more convenient, but my last visit I was treated unfairly and badly sooooooo .

Owner super nice fast in and out been doing business with this place last 3 years never disappointed hair always looking good and always throwing good deals you won't find anywhere else I highly recommend the braid factory going in this week to get my dreads done super excited !!

This place is trash don't get your locks done here unless you're on a low budget only upside is that they are cheaper then the average hair spots.

This is the most unprofessional salon I have ever been to. Do not waste your time or money. Customer satisfaction does not matter to them. If you don't like how they did your hairstyle they will blame you and not offer a refund. Instead of trying to figure out how to fix the hairstyle the stylist gets defensive and starts yelling at me. I had to sit there as she called me a liar and not an honest person all because I didn't like how she did my hair... After going back and forth with me she finally decided to fix it. It was better but nothing like what I asked for. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. If I could give them a zero I would.
