Nope! Nope! Nope! I'm in the market for a new stylist. I went on Groupon and found this place that was offering their services. Before placing my order, I called and confirmed they are accepting new clients and an appointment was available for the following Saturday. Talked to the same young lady both times I called. The first call was to confirm the information and the second call was to make the actual appointment.
The day of the appointment, 2/1/2020, after 20 mins of waiting for the stylist to show up, I call her number. No answer. Another 10 minutes past and an gentleman comes up to me to ask me what time was my appointment. I tell him. He replies, I called and texted the stylist for you but she hasn't replied yet.
By this time I'm a little annoyed so I leave. 45 mins later the stylist texts me, NOT CALL, but text me, "I am so sorry they admitted me to the hospital 2 days ago. Dye to the phenomena i spelled that wrong.you can refund on groupon and once i am out i will do it free of charge" (VERBATIM). Ma'am, you didn't even have the courtesy to cancel the appointment, what makes you think I believe you will do anything for free. I will not waste my time again.
Needless to say, I didn't even reply to the text message. I wound up getting my hair done the same day at another establishment. I do not like dealing with unprofessional people. If she was admitted to the hospital due to pneumonia 2 days prior to the appointment, a courtesy call/text the day before would have sufficed, not an hour and 15 minutes after the appointment.
