CARMEN! CARMEN! Prestige Salon Spa at Belk in Charlotte, NC

It's been a while since I sought out a new stylist and purely based on the novelty of going to "SouthPark," an area within the city of Charlotte in North Carolina, I happily encountered Jessica Motyka. My request was simple, but not easy to execute on long hair, which I now have, to cut my hair in a perfect diagonal line. Even though she kept up the interesting banter from her perspective as a transplant to the area, I could see her eagle eye was on my tresses and trying to tame them into something that might satisfy me. The end result was exactly what I'd asked for and the time went too fast in her skilled hands and I genuinely wish I lived nearby so I could see her again. An usual place--within a mall (although accessible from the outside parking lot) to find a true professional.

They are kind to wait on us even though we are one hour late. The staff is friendly, the service is superb, and the salon very clean.

I had a great cut and experience with Haley. I went to her because of good reviews I read on her. She was fun and easy to talk to. She offered great suggestions for growing out my balayage as well.

My first time here , I was really nervous if I would get a decent haircut but I asked for Haley because I read her reviews and she was  awesome !! I highly recommend her and she gave me a great cut. She took her time and she made Sure we were both on the same page. Thank you Haley CARMEN CARMEN has a winner .

Very disappointed with the manicure and pedicure that I received here. First I called to schedule an appointment and asked for the cost of a gel mani and pedi. I was told they had a special for $65. Which is a great price! So I was excited to try this place. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. However, the end product was not ideal. This is probably the worst mani/ pedi I have ever received and I get them every 2 weeks. Polish was not smooth and was very thick. She had to keep fixing the polish and it still looks terrible. My appointment lasted for 2 1/2 hours. The pedicure only included a scrub and lotion. She did not use a pumas stone or hot towels as I receive at other places. Upon checking out I was told the total was $100. I questioned the cost and mentioned that I was told there was a special for $65. The receptionist went to ask the manicurist and told me that only the other manicurist offers that price. I was very disappointed. Definitely would not recommend this place. You can spend the same amount at other places and receive a much better service.
