Tammy's Nails in New Orleans, LA

Flawless gel pedicure and a clean business with great service. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Aweful customer service!! Hope you like your nails if the polish looks nasty and ugly!! Otherwise they will refuse to fix it or refund your money!! Tammy and her husband are greedy and treat people of color like they are shit! Even though blacks have help to make her fortune!!  I was locked in her nail salon because a customer who's gel polish was horrible looking and all she asked was for them to re-polish her nails or remove the gel polish and Tammy refused!! The poor lady exclaimed she was not happy and just wanted them to make it right and advised she was happy to pay for her pedicure and other services that was done correctly.  Tammy and her husband locked every customer in the shop like prisoners and called the police department. They handle this situation badly and had a problem with other customers filling like they were trapped and imprisoned.  Finally after cops left I was able to leave needless to say I was shook up.  Got to my car and noticed my gel polish was horrible as well!! Please don't go to this place it's hit or miss!! My money was wasted and I dare not go back and complaint!! Fear of them calling the cops because a customer is unhappy and all they had to do was straighten the polish out, just sad and pitiful of a business not to accept responsibility for a mistake.  I guess I should have learned my lesson when she took off my skin waxing my lip and blamed me for it and still wanted to get paid too! Like a fool I paid her! Went back years later thinking they changed still greedy and low down!!

Just had another bad experience. I think all the ppl who work there should know how to polish nails.

Seriously the worst. Came in with pretty basil for a fill, walked out with awful, crooked to the left nails. Not only that but I got yelled at, because the guy who didn't even do my nails said it was the previous technicians work. No way. My regular girl is amazing and I only went here because she's not around. Ended up leaving and going down the street to get my nails fixed again.

BEWARE. I came here once before and it was "good". This time, My nails are now nubs and they are also not even. When I told the nail tech that some of my nails were uneven she gave me a sarcastic laugh. When I complained, the manager said "That's Its your nail bed!" She then attempted to draw squares on a paper to show me how uneven my nail bed is. She began to get loud with me in front of everyone and When I asked if she could speak only to me and not the rest of the shop, she preceded to say that's how her voice is. I've never felt forced to pay a merchant for horrible service. And they don't take card only cash. So you can't dispute any transaction with your bank.
