Salon Vous in New Orleans, LA

Got my first cut a year ago and have not changed my stylist since! I use to get my hair cut twice a year because i was uncertain and or unconfident in the stylist i have been going to. But ever since i met Amy Dang, my perspective changed. Not only my hair looks great, the quality feels amazing and the experience i recieve when i enter their salon towards me leaving is impeccable. Ever since i started coming to Salon Vous, i come like almost twice a month. Sometimes hesitant to go 3 times because i like how she styles my hair, the service and experience, and she makes me feel very comfortable coming from an introvert. That stylist Amy Dang knows her stuff.

This modern and welcoming salon is located uptown Naw'lins. Ms Eboni is a master at her trade. I highly recommend her for your natural hair care.

This was a terrible experience from the beginning. I should have known from when they called to ask me to come later than my appointment time. The stylist was 2 1/2 hours late getting started on me. The stylist was rude, she promised I would be done by a certain time. I had to leave with wet hair that she "rough cut" and the color is not what I asked. A complete waste of money and personal frustration.

I just had the most fabulous day!When that's your first thought after spending more than 8 hours in a stylist's chair, you know you're talking about excellence!!  Salon Vous and staff are the epitome of greatness, professionalism, quality and value. Kieu Vu is an absolute master of her craft, setting by example the highest level of standard and leads a crew of truly exceptional women who obviously love all things hair. While I was there, I observed an array of cuts, colorings, extensions and updos but what impressed me most was the degree of camaraderie amongst all the stylists. They were consistently willing to help one another with application and technique to ensure perfection for each and every client in the shop.  I found this sense of collaboration so refreshing and such a rarity these days.  Shira specifically was so helpful and enthusiastic with my particular treatment. I myself was there for a Japanese Straightener and let me tell you it was no small feat on my frizzy mane of kinky hair that falls below my rear.  I knew I was facing a long day of processing but I have to say it felt more like a day of pampering at the spa and I left there a changed woman for sure, ecstatic over my new glass hair look.

Here's what I have to say after visiting this salon yesterday: Trang is an absolute miracle worker. I asked her to do the impossible with my hair, and she did it with grace and excellence. Highly recommend!
