Supercuts in Middletown, CT

I came in on short notice and sat down with Lauren. I've always heard about the hairdressers chair being like a truth elixir and you know I've never experienced the verbal just share-everythingness ... until today.

Thank you Lauren for your fastidious attention to detail & the time you spent lightening and toning my hair.

I came in and it was exceptionally clean and all I told her in terms of direction is that I wanted to feel really different when I walked out. I showed her one photo and told her I trusted her judgement and for the most part I didn't really look again until the end .. (we agreed on the length vibe together) but I appreciated her professionalism and her kindness and genuine honesty in what looked good (and what the color needed to be) :) spent a little bit of time letting the color lift & we rinsed (& she decided it needed to be toned a little) & I just appreciated everything about this experience and how I feel now.

I left so much lighter than I came in and I can't thank you enough.

Okay so I changed this to four stars and I'll tell you why...

Basically I was happy but I washed my hair and I just didn't vibe with it in the end.

I ended up going to another salon (today) and having a balayage done. Lauren was super honest with me that it wasn't her speciality and we just did a standard doom highlight but I felt like my roots were too light and streaky and so anyway that's how I found myself somewhere else getting it redone 1 day later. I don't really fault her ... she was honest. I just idk it wasn't working for me & bc I'm embarrassed I prob would not be back.

Its takin me a month to post this cuz i am not sure the people who own it even care, i walked in there and there were children all over the place one lady was spinning a child in their chair, it was very loud and obnoxious and hair cuts are suppose to be relaxed.  i was stressed as soon as i sat down and i told the ladie short and tight on the sides over the ear n back, feather on the top sides, trim top.  she took the clippers n buzzed it right to the top. i knew it was going to be terrible, when it was over she said she didnt hear me, well then stop and ask me again.  she didnt care and she was an awful hairdresser, i of course i wont walk in there again and i hope others dont either.  i was trying to find a better place but everything is closed on my off hours, and my hair is still a mess and this was probably six weeks ago.

This cut was the worst cut ever she was very rude about giving me the haircut and what i was asking for i have been getting bullied at school because of how patchy my buzzcut i will never go here again SUPERCUTSK

been going there for years past year they been rude and not finishing customer they egnore you and make money on others while you pushed aside like your not even there .

I didn't want to write this but it's been bugging me and I just can't let it go.

First things first, I have shoulder length hair, and was charged an extra 10$ for long hair, which whatever. But my hair cut was extremely rushed, as was my blow dry. When she turned me around, my hair was so puffy and bad looking, I went to run my fingers through and literally couldn't because my hair was still damp and had so much product it was greasy. I went home to finish drying it and had to rewash it bc I couldn't style it. Finally styled it and the haircut is so choppy and uneven. I paid 70$ for a wash cut and blow dry and didn't even get a decent haircut. I cried walking out and am crying now, I've never felt more ugly in my life
