Studio V Salon (Vegan, & Organic Haircare Available) in San Diego, CA

I see Regina at Studio V because she offers organic hair coloring, without the chemicals. I'm leaving her a stellar review here because of my last experience at her salon. Studio V allows customers to book appointments online, which is convenient for everyone. However, one particular frazzled and overwhelming day, I booked myself for a hair session with Regina that I mistakenly thought was this Friday. So when I showed up at Regina's salon, she looked at me confused like what are you doing here? Our appointment is for NEXT Friday. My heart dropped. I had a photoshoot scheduled that weekend and I was counting on getting my hair done. Instead of berating me, she somehow fit me in her already packed schedule that day. I was so grateful! And impressed! With how she handled double bookings and demanding customers. She did it effortlessly, with grace and style. I liked that. Regina is very personable and best of all, she's a master with hair. I have a TON of hair. It's not always manageable. But with Regina as my stylist, my hair glows with health and radiance. Posting this to save others from having this situation happen to them!!! The MANAGER of this salon, Rhonda Keno, messed up my hair so badly that I had to pay $600 to have it color-corrected. She didn't match the shade of my hair when she did a root touch up, she tried to fix it, then left me with MULTIPLE color bands of PERMANENT dye in my hair which is why it cost me SO MUCH to fix!! She refused to refund me for the damage she did to my hair, said "I'll see you in court" and hung up on me. The process to fix my hair took over 9 hours and I had 2-3 stylists actively working on it continuously, hence the photo of many many MANY foils on my head. DO NOT SEE THIS STYLIST!!!

I went in for my second visit with Regina. was really looking forward to it because I loved my hair the first time she did it. I suffer from alopecia so I started going to her for the Vegan products hoping that it would be less harsh on my scalp and hair. When Regina came in, she seemed a little disgruntled and I tried to have polite conversation anyway. As my hair was getting highlighted, she seemed to get progressively angrier. This anger came out in the form of my haircut. I spent the majority of my night crying because what I had was hair that was growing back, pretty healthy and long, completely chopped down to a mullet. She cut my hair angrily and it is the only way I can describe it. I'm devastated.

second time "trying" this place. second time walking up to a locked door. terrible service. terrible communication. made an appointment for today @ 9am. been outside for 45 mins. still no show. this place is a joke. only wanted to try it simply because it's downstairs from my apartments.

Got a manicure and pedicure today and Maria was fabulous!! My nails and feet have never looked and felt better! Maria is so talented and kind, I felt so relaxed and will definitely come back. The whole salon was clean and everyone was so sweet! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a GREAT Mani/Pedi at a GREAT price!
