Just visited with my pregnant wife this weekend, and we were both enthralled with the service, the prices, and the people that make Nail Spot one of the best kept Spa secrets in all of San Diego County!
First, we called in for an appointment with 20 minutes notice. The owner said she had a late client, and would take us in place of her if the client continued to not show up. That was super cool of her. Unfortunately the client did show up, which should further demonstrate the loyalty and customer care given at this shop. We showed up anyways, and when we walked in they recognized us right away by our voices from the phone call earlier! Because my wife is pregnant and the shop door was closed, the owner immediately offered to air the place out by opening front and back doors!
We were taken care of within 15 minutes of arriving, both had premium pedicures and THEY DO HOT STONEEEE!!! My wife got a regular manicure and the whole vibe that the staff techs were creating was awesome. They really got us talking and we shared laughs and everything.

To be honest, I have not received services from Nail Spot, but wanted to leave a review regarding their "walk-ins accepted policy." I've walked in, no less than 4-5 times on different days at different times and they NEVER have availability. Even last Thursday , I walked in in the early afternoon and the place was EMPTY. It looked like there was one person getting a pedicure and one person waiting, with two people waiting. They always ask if I have an appointment and when I say no they say there's no opening and I can try back in like 4 hours. They should probably take down the Walk-ins Welcomed sign.
I was in RB for an event and needed to get my nails done. When I called, the ladies got me in the next day at 9am which was perfect!! I was able to get my hands and feet done at the same time which really helped me stay on track for time. The ladies were all really nice and wanted to make sure I was happy with the result. Love the customer service and nails look great! I will definitely be back!
This is my first time at this little nail salon. A quaint spa with a friendly staff. I called in and the young woman let me know that they were able to take me in right away. My nail specialist was quiet but efficient. She really cleaned up my cuticles and did a fantastic work on my gel nails. The massage was really once too. Would recommend this place. Also, parking was easy to find.
