I came in to receive a hair treatment and man was it treated. It was my first time here and from the moment I walked in I was treated like royalty. The salon is gorgeous, team was kind and professional. I was partnered with Mary, she asked me about my hair and my regular routine and then my service started. The treatment room was like walking into a spa! I have had treatments done on my hair other salons and this was like nothing I have ever experienced outside of a Glen Ivy treatment room. The whole experience was soothing and therapeutic. Thank you Mary for caring for my tresses and the amazing scalp and neck massage, my hair has never felt of looked this good. If you are reading this, do yourself a favor and book that appointment, you will not be disappointed.
Cut and color ambiance.5yrs with Mary! She gets me! Haven't found a place like this just about anywhere else. Love it
I hate getting my hair cut and generally avoid it at all costs until it's absolutely necessary. I was past that point several months ago and finally had to commit to a salon ASAP. I ended up picking ARCS because it was conveniently located nearby where I needed to be for the evening. I am beyond grateful it worked out that way because I have never had such a positive experience at a salon. First of all, the salon is super chic and in a really cool building right across the street from the Convention Center. My appointment was with Mace and I loved her from the start. I explained to her that I hate cutting my hair because I prefer my hair to be long. I fully anticipated chopping off several inches of dead hair, but Mace explained she only needed to cut off a small, specific portion. I was relieved and she worked her magic. The coolest part of the salon was the hair wash station - it's a dark spa room with relaxing music. I am definitely coming back for that spa experience alone. I have never seen or experienced anything like that before in a hair salon! Long story short - you HAVE to come to ARCS for your next hair salon appointment.
I haven't been in here since COVID, but Robert (the owner) is always hilarious and so customer oriented. My stylist, Ariel, (Not sure if she is still there), always made me look amazing. I can't say I love the area they are located in so close to the convention center. But if you come in the daytime, it's not too sketchy and you'll definitely get a good haircut. It's pricey, but being a Paul Mitchell school, you can sort of control the price by getting someone less experienced. Highly recommended.
Look no further! Alex was great, I waited 6 months for my hair to grow to make some changes and had some inspo pictures on my phone; she understood the assignment I've had bad experiences with other salons so it was such a great feeling to walk out still feeling like myself but with the change i wanted! thanks Alex
