I've been going to splurge for about 4 years now and I highly recommend it to all my Friends and family, I truly feel part of their family and always feel so welcome. Such a beautiful and clean nail salon!
I'm new to the Fayetteville area and found the Splurge Salon. It was convenient to my home. The first visit for dip nails was concerning because the dip began to fall off after a couple weeks. I called and they told me to "come in and they would take care of me ". I thought that meant at no cost. They discounted it a small amount but that was all. After the second time the dip lasted about a week. I called and talked to the assistant manager about my issue and he said he would have the owner call me the next day; that was 2 weeks ago. It's obvious they are not interested in making this right. Disappointingly that people do business this way.
I've been hearing a lot of great things about Splurge so I decided to try and I think they will be my new go-to salon. Most salons aren't willing to do many designs on my nails bc they're short and if they do attempt designs they don't do a great job, but Diego was immediately willing to try my idea and did an amazing job on them. He also was super personable. They had a ton of colors to choose from and pricing was fair as well. I also really like their online booking option. I will definitely be coming back!
Based on their customer service skills is why I have to give this salon a 1 star.It was my sister in laws first time getting a pedi and dip powder( she's a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding).
Anyways we were running 10 mins behind and arrived late, I received a phone call asking if we were still coming I informed them I was and that one of my sister in laws was walking in as we were speaking. The receptionist was EXTREMELY rude over the phone. They tried telling me they were busy when in fact they had nobody waiting yes all the other technicians were busy but still there was no wait.
Once we arrived the receptionist kept giving us a bad vibe and the dirtiest looks. We ignored it but felt so uncomfortable.
Now fast forward to my sister in law getting the dip, the technician doing her nails was rude and unprofessional. It was her first time getting her nails done and I expected any tech working on her to do their best because of course you want the customer to come back. But instead she made her feel so uncomfortable. When asked what color she wanted she told her the same as her toes, more of a nude instead she picked a light coral color which yes that was half her fault but it was also the techs fault. Seeing that color she should've told her something. I used to be a receptionist at a nail salon for years until I started to do nails so yes I know how things should've gone.
Now my sister in law asked for them to be fixed because the color clashes with her dress but wanting a different tech and she's being denied that. So she has asked for a refund and instead of handling this professionally they choose to deny the refund as well. I'm taken back at what is going on, I really had high hopes for this salon and wanted her to enjoy her time but instead was let down.
Not only that what really makes this worse was that same day another customer had called complaining that her nails were not right and the manager told her to come in and she would re do her nails personally. So how is it that she excepts that but my sister in law is being denied?
Came here for a pedicure for both my mom and myself. Called that morning and they had an opening for us which was great (Tuesday so shouldn't be too busy) when we got their we were greeted and told to go wash our hands and pick out a color. The ladies who were doing our toes were on time and brought us back to get started
Pros:
They used a liner in the tub
They autoclave their metal tools
They saw us fairly quickly and were professional during the session
Cons:
They do not do a full pedicure meaning they do not clean your side wall or give your feet enough time to soak and get dead skin off. If you just want a polish than this place is great for that
They use a nail file that has been used for other people was not in it's own package and was not thrown away after we were done.
They dont use a base coat (wasn't offered and probably so they get people to come back more often)
Takeaway: while the people were very nice I would not go back as I feel like there was more that should have been done to have a proper pedicure.
