If I could give negative stars I would WORST experience of my life! It's been over a month since my terrible experience with Hali-rooted mane and I still have to hold back tears every time I look in the mirror. She took it upon herself to cut layers into my long hair which had no layers previously. I asked to have it trimmed straight across . Ended up with lots of layers . Asked for blonde highlights. Lighter than the last time because last time she did it was not blonde either. Ended up light brown again. She did offer to "fix" the color which I went back for. Still not the color I had when I originally went to her. But I did appreciate her taking her time to try again. There is a distinct line in my hair from when she highlighted it compared to previous highlight. Because the color is so much darker. But she said that was normal. In 30 plus years of highlights I have never had this line in my hair . And the amount of hair she cut off can only be "fixed" by time . And I don't think there is enough time before my daughters wedding, so I guess I will be looking for extensions or a wig for that.
AND she said it was my fault because I didn't show her a picture of myself. She didn't ask for a picture. Why do you need a picture to understand what cut straight across means ??? It doesn't mean layers. I feel if hairdresser did not understand and needed a picture , SHE should have asked to clarify what trim straight across means. Not take it upon yourself to just cut in layers. But I was wrong. It was my fault.
Never have I had a hairdresser turn it around that it is my fault ! How is it my fault you decided to cut layers into my long hair when there were none when I came in.
Just wanted to warn any ladies with long blonde hair if you want to keep it stay away from Hali.
