Shaggy Dogs Grooming Salon in San Diego, CA

I have took my dog Jax since they have been opened. Jax gets very excited when he gets his grooming done. He loves his treats he gets and the fact he doesn't have to be crated is a plus. He comes out looking great and smells so good. Always gets some tie to add to him looking so handsome when he's done. They also send him home with a bag of treats.

Very upset with the way they treat the dogs. I will never recommend this place. They don't care about their own pets nor the clients pets. Very upsetting !! Do not trust them with your Fur baby -10 rating

Took my dog to the groomer for the first time, I was referred by a friend. They did a great job! I will definitely be taking him again. The owner was so nice and friendly and I could tell she truly cared for my dog.

I had been happy having my dog groomed here until his last experience. I knew when I brought him in that he was matted. I would have EXPECTED a call to discuss with me my options on how to handle that. No one called and when I went to pick him up he had been totally shaved. They even cut him in 2 spots, and he has scabs. He has been incredibly depressed and is not himself at all. Plus with it being colder in the mornings and evenings now he gets cold. When I contacted them they did not seem remorseful and basically told me...good luck to you elsewhere. Plus he weighs 25 pounds and I was even charged for a large dog at $95 which was more than I normally pay. Just a bad experience all around and what I feel the worst about is how sad and depressed my dog is now. Be sure to make your desires known before leaving this shop. :(

I love this salon I have shelter and the girl's go above and beyond to help my special needs, paralyzed dogs. I highly recommend Shaggy Dog Grooming. They take their time, and the cuts are beautiful
