Hairworks Mira Mesa in San Diego, CA

I came in here for a neck trim and deep conditioning treatment to relax and the hairstylist literally burned the back of my neck by having the dryer extremely hot and not turning it down nor giving me an extra towel. Please see picture of the burn. I only gave her a tip just to be nice. Seriously I am never coming back here ever again! I am going back to my other hair salon from now on!

Horrible. Just absolutely horrible. This is the second time my mom has just walked in to ask for eyebrow wax, & the first time she told me that she was completely ignored & finally someone just told her "25 min wait." So my mom left. THIS time I went with her & note this...3...3! Women in that salon....one in the back, another outside on her phone sitting on the bench, & the one who actually said hi to us was just organizing something behind the counter, (she did have a client on the shampoo area) but literally that it. NO ONE else in the salon, no one! So we asked & the lady with pink lipstick & a pink smock just kept repeating "eyebrow?? You want uh uh eyebrow??" & I kept saying "yes." So she started shouting in their language & the one in the back just popped her head out,& walked away...& she started shouting to the girl outside & the girl shouted back "Naaaahhh!" Which was clearly a big no. Because after they talked the lady in the pink lipstick walked back to her client & just left us standing there like dumbasses, & so my mom & I decided to just walk out. & the lady with the liptstick straight up told us "there's eyebrow around corner" as she pointing to the other salons, so I finally told her "do you guys just not want to?" "I mean it's clear no one wants to tend to us" "I mean even she said no." ' the lady goes "who??" & I pointed to the girl in the black smock sitting outside on her phone. This is just racist too, but if I was one of them I'd probably get attended to right away. It's just horrible that this happened to mom, not once but TWICE already. Get rid of the WALK IN WELCOME & the WAXING sign so this doesn't happen to other people.

I had my haircut done by Anh! It was my first time here as I just moved back recently. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did amazing! She took her time to not only make sure the layers were right but also styled it along the way like the picture. She is also very friendly too! I am very happy with the haircut and will be coming back in the future. Thank you!

This is the second time I've visited as a walk-in. I'm very pleased with the haircut and style I got from V! She treated my hair with great care. I highly recommend this salon. These pictures aren't the greatest but my hair looks better in person!

Had my second appointment with Anh today and I was very satisfied. The hair wash process was relaxing and my haircut turned out better than I imagined it to be. Anh provided detailed feedback on the state of my hair and what to do to improve its texture, appearance, and health. She answered my questions and I was touched that she remembered my first visit from over a year ago. I'm super happy with my new look! Thank you so much, Anh!
