Day Nails & Spa in San Diego, CA

I am reviewing for m&i nails which is now the shop in this location. My first time today. The ladies are nice and I was offered a small bottle. My pedicure was regular and turned out fine. My manicure looks fine as well except there's a little bubble or something on my nail, and there are patches where the color was not evenly applied. I feel like she rushed the last coat to help with the next customer which was on a time crunch to get somewhere else. But overall okay and it's near my home so I might return while they have their special deals.

This review is for the newly named "M & I Nail Salon" that recently bought this company. I went in for a relaxing manicure and left even more stressed than I arrived. I had to step over boxes to see the nail polish selection. It was just myself and two nail technicians in the room so it was so awkwardly quiet. My nails themselves looked nice but when I went to pay they said their card machine didn't work. If your card machine isn't working, you need to tell customers outright. Not everyone carries cash or checks. The nail tech tried calling her boss and got no response. She had the audacity to ask me to go to Sprouts and buy some chips to get cash back. I wish I had stood up for myself and said no, but I went ahead and bought something at Sprouts to get cash back. On the walk back I saw that one of my nails had already chipped! Absolutely ridiculous! I asked them to fix it and they hurriedly applied all four coats too quickly for them to dry properly which led to the nail polish bunching before I had even started my car. Despite its proximity to my house, I will never come here again due to their poor customer service.

My absolute favorite place to get my nails done! Jasmine and Mi are total sweethearts who have a great disposition and want you to have perfection. I recommend this place to everyone!

Casey is my favorite! Once she cut my hair 5 years ago, I've only gone to her! She's really fun and very professional. Her haircuts always have me feeling refreshed and beautiful. Casey now cuts my mom's hair too, and mom loves her color and style. Going in soon and I can't wait!

I went to Tangles for the first time recently and was very pleased! The stylists there are friendly and super knowledgeable. I went from a golden blonde to a lighter blonde, and having VERY fine and delicate hair I was worried if I was asking too much than what my hair is capable of withstanding. Holly, my amazing stylist, truly cared for the health of my hair and I was able to lighten it without damaging it! I also love their product line and even purchased a few items. I would absolutely refer Tangles, and Holly, to anyone looking for a great color and wonderful experience!
