Savi Salon in Springfield, VA

I was feeling spontaneous and decided to get a balayage. It took 5 hours (my hair was very long) and the technique used was not great. Tina/Gina? Said she tried a new technique on me and I don't think it was wise to do so. One side of my hair has blotchy colors and the other side barely has color. I spoke up with the bangs when I saw that one side had no color but did not noticed the unevenness of the rest of my hair until I got to the car. I was disappointed this cost me $330 and now I have another appointment at another salon to get this corrected. The haircut was nice though.

We've been going to Jeannie for years (husband and I) and we scheduled an appointment for my daughters first haircut. When we walked in she did not greet us or show us any emotion. Just "haircut for her?" And pointed to my daughter. She sat her down in the chair, did not even acknowledge her or talk with her. When I told her how I wanted her hair cut, Jeannie told me that it was a bad haircut for babies .... Huh!?? It's my daughters hair! She started brushing her hair and was extremely rough, her head and neck were jerking all over the place. My daughter was extremely patient and quiet and didn't say anything until she couldn't take it anymore. She looked at me and quietly tears starting rolling down her cheeks. Even still, Jeannie was emotionless, didn't say anything except "keep her head straight". The haircut job was ok. I brought her here because we always had pleasant experiences with Jeannie and she always did a good job with our hair. I don't know why she was so rude to my toddler or us, for that matter. It was not a good feeling. And on top of that, she charged us $40 for a simple bang cut and .5in trim. The haircut took all of 5 minutes. Unfortunately after so many years, we will not be back. You lost 2 very good customers in a salon that doesn't have many clients to begin with! Nothing excuses bad customer service.

I visited this salon as a walk-in. Not a long wait and excellent service. Jessica did a wonderful job with my touch-up color. She made good suggestions on how to maintain my hair color and/or lighten the color. Looking forward to returning to try some new lighter colors and highlights. Service, cleanness, friendly staff, and experience rates a five star. However warning those of us with a tight budget the salon has high prices.

Jessica was absolutely amazing!! She is so sweet and she took her time even though the whole mall was closed. She truly cared more about going slow and making my hair look incredible. Rather then having it rushed and bad. I highly recommend going to Jessica if you want serious results!! She took out all the red in my hair and turned it into exactly what I had wanted (which is very hard to do from red to almost blonde). She surpassed my expectations! I will continue going to her for many many years and I can't wait to see what else she can do! The before and after pictures are below :)
