My husband went to this shop Remind you I called her before I sent him there and asked her how much it would for 14 cornrows she replied $30 when they finished his hair she charged him $80 we are talking about 14 cornrows going to the back I took my husband some money up to the shop and she was probably counting the money as he was counting after I left (greedy) and she took the entire $80. I WILL REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I has saw the bad reviews before I called but me being the person I am I decided to give them a chance and the braids are jacked up STAY AWAY

This was a disaster I will never go or recommend anyone to this braid shop. My locs didn't last a day. I notified the owner and she agreed to re- style and replace my hair with no refund. However she had an attitude and tried to charge me extra money.
This is not a good place to go. I agree the ladies were nice, but ALL Africans do NOT know how to braid and these ladies do not. They wrap the hair around your hair and you basically have a slip knot. They parted it really big in the back and she kept smoothing my braids down sort of blending them in when she finished a braid. I went to the bathroom to look at them and questioned her about it but they started talking about me in their native language. I was the only one there Both ladies doing my hair did not know how to braid. They didn't like that I didn't want my edges braided, Little did I know, it didn't matter anyway because they slipped right out. I paid them $160 plus tip. I'll never go back. its been two weeks and I have lost several braids. I should have know something when they wanted load my head with spritz and told me not to "play" in them to keep them from coming down. Really?? You can go back and they say they will "FIX it" But do you want to go back to someone who doesn't do a good job initially?
I love the atmosphere. The ladies are very polite and always leave me looking great. They are fast and I love my hair never had a problem with my braids or twist will always be a loyal customer.......Sherri Memphis
